I don’t know about you, but I hate when I have only a few uses left of my body wash or lotion and know I need to go to CVS or Walgreens to buy more. I personally pay attention to the ingredients I eat, but until recently, never thought to pay much mind to the ingredients I put on my body. After learning of the negative side effects of common ingredients like sulfates, which can lead to skin irritation or worse, I knew I wanted to make the switch to a brand that prioritized clean products. Athena Club’s products are all-natural and sustainable - they don’t include any harsh dyes, additives, or chemicals. 2. Quality of products
Naturally, Athena’s use of high-quality ingredients leads to a luxurious product experience. I have used their shaving cream, razor, body wash, and body lotion, and always look forward to how soft my skin will feel after and how nice it will smell. The razor blades are cushioned with skin guards and shea butter, and it glides so easily and precisely over my skin that I don’t have to shave the same area twice. The shaving cream, or “cloud shaving foam” as they call it, is just that: a cloud foam. I cannot emphasize enough how much I loved the shaving cream; a little goes a long way, although I frequently found myself using too much because it was just such a soft and luxurious feeling. Now when I shower at my parents' house and use my drugstore products, I miss my shower in my apartment stocked with Athena.
3. Design of Products
I’m not going to lie, I like an aesthetically pleasing product look in my shower. I’ll match my shampoo to my conditioner to my body wash, etc, and change up my color scheme every few months. So, I was very happy with the design of the products - the pink razor is simple yet looks great hanging on my shower wall, and it matches my body wash, shaving cream, and body lotion nicely.
4. Convenience of Subscription
As I mentioned, I leave buying shower products until the last minute (and sometimes after!). When I finally make the trip to CVS, I have too many products to choose from and walk out feeling overwhelmed and wondering if I made the right choice. This is one of my favorite things about Athena Club - the products are delivered to me on the cadence of my choosing, whether every 2, 3, or 4 months.
