There’s a lot of skill in putting a stylish outfit together, but fashion-forward folks know that accessorizing is key! One of my favorite ways to elevate a ‘fit is through cool sunglasses–but where should I turn to for shades that are both stylish, high-quality, and comfortable?
In my pursuit to find the sunglasses that I’ll be throwing on all summer long, I decided to pit the time-old favorite Ray-Bans against Vincero, a brand that makes premium, modern sunglasses. It’s safe to say I’ve found a favorite…
If you want durable, long-lasting shades that fit perfectly… Vincero
I have to say, Vincero was intentional with how they crafted their glasses as their lenses are made with 5-barrel hinges for precision and durability, malleable acetate, and a stainless steel core for strength and flexibility. You can honestly feel the difference–they’re really sturdy and don’t slide.
One thing I fear most with my shades is scratching them, though! Luckily, Vincero has me covered with their scratch-resistant CR-39 polarized lenses. The lenses reduce glare (perfect for the summer!) and the anti-reflective coating ensures I get the most clarity while wearing them.
On the other hand, my Ray-Bans fit a little loosely on my face, and the more I wore them, the more the frames seemed to “stretch.” It got to the point where they started sliding down my face and were ultimately annoying to wear. I didn’t have this problem with Vincero at all–I could adjust them to fit my face, but they stayed in place once I did.
If you want serious style without breaking the bank... Vincero
What immediately drew me to Vincero was their broad range of shapes and styles–from aviator to rectangle to round to square, there’s shades for all preferences and styles. Vincero has medium, narrow, and wide fits for all face shapes, too. 🕶️
I like that my Oliver pair has a stainless steel bridge, which makes the pair feel really modern. And The Aidens are made with premium Italian acetate, so they feel lightweight but not cheap. Vincero’s Brown, Green, and Smoke lens colors look fresh yet classic, so they’re wearable no matter the season.
You’d think that these features would come at a high price, right? Most Vincero sunnies hover around $145, with their aviators coming in at $175. For contrast, many Ray-Ban aviators cost $200+. I know Ray-Bans are classic, but I prefer the more modern look of Vincero’s frames, and they’re more affordable.
If you’re all about big name brands… RayBan
Sometimes it’s hard to beat out a brand that’s made a name for themselves, and here, that’s Ray-Ban. While there’s no shade intended here (pun intended!), I'm finding Vincero to be a worthy contender because of the versatility in the products they offer. But if having a big name brand labeled on your shades is important to you, then I say go Ray-Ban.
If you value a highly personal customer service experience… Vincero
Vincero goes above and beyond with their customer service experience, unlike the standard hoops you’ll have to jump through when you contact a big brand like Ray-Ban. Every time I had a question, Vincero delivered a prompt response right away–how great is that? Plus, they offer free shipping on every order over $100, a strong 5-year warranty, and a 365-day return policy.
I can rest assured knowing that if there’s any problems, Vincero will make it right, and I couldn’t count on Ray-Ban for the same level of service.
The Ultimate Winner... Vincero
If it wasn’t evident to you by now, let me make it clearer–Vincero’s sunglasses are my winner. Their passion for modern design and premium shades, watches, and bracelets is why this brand has won me over not just in the sunglasses world, but for ALL accessories. If you’re looking to elevate your style just in time for summer, with shades that will look good in any season, I recommend you try out Vincero. 😎
