TMI: I Subscribed to This At-Home Urine Test & App – And It’s Strangely Addictive

If you know anything about me, you’d know I am an exercise addict. I would work out 8 days a week if that was a thing, but I’ll stick to 7 for now. While I take my wellness seriously in that respect, I haven’t taken the rest of my wellness as seriously in the last few years, until I learned about Vivoo.

I first started seeing ads for Vivoo on my Instagram a few months ago and was immediately intrigued. An at-home urine test that would give me personalized nutritional and lifestyle advice? Sounds a bit weird, but hear me out…Getting real-time body data on hydration and magnesium in the comfort of my home is so convenient! As someone who works out as much as I do, getting enough magnesium helps improve my performance, and hydration is key.

Well, I can officially say that as weird as it may be, I am now addicted to Vivoo. Here’s the low down on Vivoo and why I’m obsessed:

Vivoo is super easy to use

With Vivoo, you can get real-time body data on 9 parameters: Vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, ketones, pH, hydration, sodium, oxidative stress, and proteins all without ever leaving your house. All you have to do is pee on one of the strips, scan it to the Vivoo app, wait 90 seconds, and boom: your personalized results are in.

Not only do you get the results within literal seconds, but you also get personalized advice. You’ll learn the easy fixes like drinking more water to keep your hydration levels higher (who among us hasn’t needed this), but you’ll also get nutritional and lifestyle advice with different recommended recipes based on your body data.

All of the advice given on the app is prepared by registered dietitians, nutritionists, and doctors, so I know I’m in great hands. The app also enables you to purchase personalized supplements based on your Vivoo test results to further improve your wellness.

Vivoo provides actionable results

I am nothing if not goal-oriented, so I actively find myself reaching for my tests weekly to get insight on my wellness vs the previous week with the recommended changes I’ve been making from Vivoo. Getting these test results from Vivoo has given me insights so I can actionably improve my life! I learned that my calcium levels were low, so even though I was working out a lot, I wasn’t necessarily strengthening my muscles, and this could also lead to poor sleep quality (no wonder I was waking up in the night more frequently). Since learning this, I’m proud to share that I’ve followed Vivoo’s recommendations like eating more kale and drinking more milk, and my calcium levels have definitely improved. I’m noticing it in stronger workouts and better quality sleep.

Vivoo is super affordable

This is A LOT of very useful information you’re getting from a test, so I had thought the price would be high (as it seems everything these days). However, I was wrong - pricing starts at $29.99/month for a 3-month subscription or $19.99/month for a 1-year subscription. You’ll receive 12 strips for a 3-month supply or one strip per week. Vivoo recommends you test once a week to best track your wellness. And given how much I spend on other aspects of my life, this price makes it a no-brainer to try.

The results are real

Okay, so the price is great, the product is easy to use, and it gives actionable personalized advice. But, are the results real? Do I feel any different after using the product for a few weeks?

Yes, I honestly can say that I feel a lot better. I may still be exercising (close to) every day, but I feel stronger in my workouts and recover faster because I'm getting insights into what my body really needs to recover. I’m sleeping better as well, and overall feel my energy level throughout the day has increased (no joke, I saw a friend about 2 months ago and she commented that my voice sounded tired, and when I saw her last week, she said I seemed way more energetic than last time). I’ve also been getting more PRs on my Peloton and in the gym. I will definitely be sticking to my weekly Vivoo routine!
