This Toilet Paper Brand Has Thousands of 5 Star Reviews Online. Here Is My Honest Take After Trying…

I don't usually pay much attention to toilet paper recommendations, but Who Gives A Crap kept showing up everywhere. Between thousands of five-star reviews, colorful bathroom photos, and people insisting they'd never go back to ordinary rolls, I finally gave in to the hype.

Now I understand why.

How You Can Save $135 a Year On Toilet Paper

Because the mega rolls from Who Gives A Crap last longer, I wasn't replacing them nearly as often, which means I was spending less and it was also one less thing on my to-do (thank god). After 6 months, I only went through about half of my 48 roll box, which brings my total cost on toilet paper for a year to be ~$65. They say the average person spends ~$200 a year on toilet paper, so that's about $135 a year saved! In this economy... that's AWESOME. Any small lifestyle change that add up to that difference is so important.

A Small Lifestyle Change and a Wipe You Can Feel Good About

Who Gives A Crap describes their rolls as extra-soft, 3-ply bamboo toilet paper that is "gentler than cloud cuddles," which I found to be undoubtedly true. But even more important than cloud cuddles (if that's possible), they are committed to "uncraping the world." Every day, 1 million trees are cut down to make traditional toilet paper, so by using their bamboo toilet paper rolls, you are helping global deforestation. They also donate 50% of their profits to help global sanitation, with millions already donated to date. As they say, cheers for giving back, shaking bums and making stuff that makes a difference.

The other thing that caught my attention was Who Gives A Crap's commitment to ingredient/manufacturing transparency. From what I found through several sources, they have no PFAS added, no inks or dyes, are fragrance free, hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested, sensitive skin friendly, BPA free, and do not use chlorine bleach. Which you would be surprised with how many big box toilet paper brands are including these toxic chemicals. Here is how Who Gives A Crap compares to the brands you likely use already:

If you're going to buy toilet paper anyway, Who Gives A Crap is one swap that's actually worth making. The rolls are soft, last longer, and can help cut down what you spend on toilet paper each year. I also love that the brand is upfront about what goes into its products, while trying to make the world a better place. It's an easy everyday switch that feels like a better choice for your bathroom, your budget, and the planet. And it makes sense why everyone is loving them...
