Shopping for my kids is hard. After working full-time all day, the last thing I want to do is take them shopping around a mall, which usually ends in tears and feels like wasted time. I've tried online shopping in the past, but the pieces would always be the wrong size, not what we expected, or worse yet–overpriced, low-quality, or bad for the environment. I was about to give up when I heard about Ten Little.
Ten Little is a mom-founded company that takes the stress out of shopping for baby and kids' essentials across categories including wear, play, and feeding. Their marketplace recommends items for your kiddos based on their age, size, and stage, and even creates a personalized shop for them! All of the products are non-toxic and are designed, tested, and vetted by experts.
I was curious to see how Ten Little would work for my family, so I decided to give it a try on my toddler and baby. Here's what I found:
Bespoke Shopping Experience
Ten Little is not just another subscription box–and I love that. Ten Little takes the guesswork out of finding the perfect fit for your little one through a combination of their age, preferences, and varying skill sets.
When I logged onto the site, I was asked a few simple questions about my kids, and within a few seconds, Ten Little created my own shop of curated products that are safe and sustainable. I love knowing that their team of experts (founded by moms who promise they've tested every single product on the site!) has done the research so I don't have to.
For my toddler, Ten Little put together a personalized store with everything from shoes and accessories to games, art supplies, and event feeding essentials. All of my results identified my kids’ unique stages with information about why they were recommending these products with names like “Budding Artist” (Arts & Crafts) “Experienced Eater” (Feeding) or “Junior Engineer” (Building Toys). For my baby, Ten Little curated an entirely different shop, with everything from baby booties, First Walkers, and age-appropriate games and mealtime essentials.
The best part? Both of my kids’ shops will grow with them. I only have to take the quiz once and their personalized recommendations will evolve as they graduate from one stage to the next. How cool is that?
When my order arrived, I was impressed with how accurate the recommendations were. My toddler loved her blush pink Everyday Originals shoes, her Everyday crew socks, insulated lunchbox, and DIY puffy stickers kit. My baby is also loving her Mess-Free Finger Painting kit and wooden farm animal toys, and looks so cute in her heather gray First Walkers shoes.
A Guaranteed Fit
To find the right pair of shoes, I took their quiz, which asked me 1-2 questions about my child’s current shoes or measurements. You can also use their Printable Fit Finder to match your child’s foot with the right size. And voila! It turns out my baby was actually wearing shoes that were too big, and Ten Little helped me find a better-fitting pair.
When the shoes arrived a few days later, they fit perfectly! I was really happy with how accurate the sizing guide was. The bottom of the box also doubles as a sizing tool, so as her feet grow, I'll always know the right size shoes to order. The shoes have removable insoles to teach left and right, which can also be used to see if my child has outgrown their shoes.
Ten Little makes gift giving incredibly easy with their innovative Gift Finder tool. I used to dread shopping for my niece's and nephew's birthday presents because I never knew what was age-appropriate or what they'd think was cool. With Ten Little's Gift Finder, I was able to select the age and price range of the gift I wanted to buy, and it gave me a bunch of great options. I found the ideal present for my niece in just a few minutes without even stepping foot in a store!
Ten Little is quickly becoming my go-to spot for shopping for my little ones. I love how easy and stress-free it is, and how I can be sure that the items I'm getting are perfect for my kiddos. If you're looking for an effortless way to shop for your kids, I recommend giving Ten Little a try!
