I was thrilled when I first found out about Bye Acne. The FDA-cleared wand not only stops acne in its tracks, but it's also super cute, rechargeable, and travel-friendly. What Is Bye Acne?
This wand has the technology of blue light and red light therapy. The blue light (415 nm) helps eliminate acne-causing bacteria and regulates sebum production to prevent future breakouts. Meanwhile, the red light (630 nm) penetrates deep into your skin to help reduce inflammation and redness, lighten post-acne hyperpigmentation, and rejuvenate skin.
Treatment couldn’t be easier, either. Simply hold the power button to turn on the light, then hold it against the area with your blemish for 3 minutes. It will beep for every 1 minute that passes, so after 3 beeps, it turns off automatically. The compact size makes it great for traveling with ease, but also for pinpointing the exact area you want to target.
How I Use the Device
The Bye Acne tool is painless and fits into my nighttime routine effortlessly. For best results, I use mine directly after washing my face, and before applying any serums or moisturizers. You can definitely feel a bit of warmth coming from the light, especially after the first minute, but that’s normal and that just means it’s working its magic!
Not only does it solve current breakout situations, but it also helps to prevent new ones from coming to a head. This is an amazing alternative to splurging on expensive light therapy office visits and/or other pricey equipment. Also not something I have time for! Does It Work?
I’ve come to terms with the fact that I will never have perfect skin, and I will get blemishes from time to time. It’s reassuring to know I can count on SolaWave’s Bye Acne wand to help speed up the process and dramatically shrink my pimples in 1-3 days/uses. It is recommended to only use the tool once per day on each spot.
After my first few times using this tool, I noticed that my problem area (my chin) has been almost 100% clear, and significantly improved in terms of having no blemishes pop up since activating the Bye Acne light on it.
