MSA’s Guide To Subscriptions For Staying Home & Staying Healthy
We hope you and your family are doing well and staying healthy and safe.
In light of the spread of COVID-19, we put together this page to collect some of our favorite subscription brands and categories that deliver what you need through the mail, during a time when many of us are working from home and practicing social distancing. We’re working on keeping this content up-to-date and relevant so it’s as useful as possible.
We’ll continue to post subscription box spoilers, news, deals, and reviews to our homepage as always. (Some reviews may be a little delayed as we work out the logistics of everyone working from home.)
We are right here with you in all of this!

A Note About Shipping Times
Please note that many brands are experiencing longer-than-normal ship times due to an influx of new customers, so check the messaging on their sites closely to know exactly what to expect. In most cases, you should expect to order now in order to receive products in 10-14+ days.
Check this post for the latest updates on shipping times for food related boxes; we are doing our best to keep it updated as we learn more about shipping times. (Messaging may vary depending on region since many of these services have multiple fulfillment centers, so checking their website is still your best bet overall.)
Online Grocery Delivery Services
We love these services to help make stocking up on the essentials a little easier. If your local grocery stores don’t deliver or are feeling an inventory pinch, you may have luck restocking your pantry and bathroom cabinets with these online-only services.
Most are experiencing delayed shipping due to an influx of new customers, so if you’re considering signing up it’s best to plan ahead and order now for what you may need about 2 weeks from now, or check this post for the latest updates.
Meal Kits & Prepared Foods
Meal kits and prepared food subscriptions are great for filling your fridge and freezer with perishable goods, including fresh and frozen fruits & veggies. We like that these options take some of the burden of planning recipes and meals off your shoulders– but similar to the above services, you may need to order now in order to receive product 1-2 weeks from now.
Cleaning Products Shipped To You
Effective cleaning of both hands and surfaces begins with soap and water. (Here’s more about how soap works against viruses from the NYTimes. The CDC recommends cleaning and then disinfecting surfaces to be most effective against the spread of disease.) Eco-friendly and green cleaning services can keep you stocked up on hand soap, laundry soap, and dishwashing products, but look to pantry and grocery services for surface disinfectants.
Personal Care Product Refills
Self-care while staying at home should include everything you need to feel comfortable and stay healthy. That is different for everyone and may mean continuing to take immune-boosting supplements or simply keeping stocked up on shampoo and conditioner– but definitely don’t forget to look for a moisturizing hand lotion to help combat dry skin from increased hand washing.
Baby Care & Kids
With school and daycare programs closing temporarily in our area, we’ve got keeping our kids healthy and happy top of mind. There are many specialty subscriptions for diapering supplies and even kid specific meal kits (and fresh baby foods) that will ship to you. We also recommend the membership shopping site Thrive Market, which has tons of kid-friendly snacks, personal care, and wellness products to choose from.
