What if I told you that you could incorporate electrolyte drinks and tea into your daily routine to help transform the appearance of your skin? Healthy, hydrated-looking skin is a sign of great health from within, and an easy way to improve that hydration is with the proper kind of ingredients.

Pique and Liquid I.V. both claim to increase hydration and energy with their electrolyte drinks. I tested products from both brands. Which one actually worked to plump up and hydrate my dry skin? You'll have to keep reading to find out.

If you want a product that really benefits your skin… Pique

The Radiant Skin Duo consists of two products, the Sun Goddess Matcha Green Tea and the B•T Fountain Beauty Electrolyte. The ingredients of the B•T Fountain are vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, sugar-free, and organic.

They use hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and other natural ingredients that are clinically proven to improve skin hydration and elasticity while reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Pairing both the B•T Fountain and Sun Goddess Matcha also helps keep the skin firm, bright, and more youthful.

Liquid I.V. products are non-GMO and use no artificial ingredients. Each stick contains 3X the electrolytes of traditional sports drinks with 5 essential vitamins. But a single serving has 11 grams of added sugar, which is too much in my opinion. Because of the added benefits and focus on skin health, the Pique products are the winner for me.

If taste matters to you... definitely Pique!

I have the pickiest palette. If something has benefits but doesn't taste good, then I'm not going to be consistent in using a product. The electrolyte drink from Pique is downright delicious. It has the right amount of sweetness without going overboard. The B•T Fountain Beauty Electrolyte is flavored with organic yuzu raspberry for a nice refreshing flavor.

The Matcha Tea has a refreshing clean taste to it without any sweetness at all. I enjoy the tea both hot and cold, it just depends on my mood. On the other hand, the Liquid I.V. electrolytes are too sweet for me and I'm not a fan of stevia as a sweetener, so Pique wins again.

If you’re looking for the more affordable option…Liquid I.V.

The Pique Radiant Skin Duo single subscription costs $107, which comes with 28 servings of the B•T Fountain Beauty Electrolyte and 28 servings of the Sun Goddess Match Green Tea, as well as a free frother and beaker. That works out to $1.91 per serving.

Liquid I.V. costs $24.99 for 16 packets, which comes out to $1.56 per serving. Yes, Liquid I.V. is less expensive, but the ingredients are quite different and it relies too heavily on sugar, so I don't think this is a fair comparison.

If convenience is important...it’s a tie!

Both of these brands provide convenient individual packets, so there's no measuring. This also makes them extra convenient for taking on the go and when traveling. We all live busier than ever lives these days, so both brands hit the mark with the pre-measured packaging. This comparison is a tie.

If you want to see results in less than 30 days...Pique

The ingredients in the Pique products are more specific to skin hydration and skin health, which is exactly what attracted me to this duo. They use Full-Spectrum Isolate Synthesis Technology to gently extract and preserve phytonutrients, giving you maximum results with every sip.

I’ve tried Liquid I.V. in the past with no noticeable difference in my skin’s appearance but since starting Pique, my skin feels more hydrated and plump!

The ultimate winner…Pique

If you're looking to rejuvenate your skin from deep within with ingredients that also boost your overall skin and body, and provide other antioxidant benefits then Pique is the one to choose.

The benefits, ingredients, and taste are superior to me from Liquid I.V!
