When it comes to adventure, I’m a Yes Man. And when it comes to electric bikes built for the job, not all rides are created equal. I had the chance to put both the Pedal All Wheel Drive [ S ] and the SUPER73-R Adventure Series LE to the test — and let’s just say, the differences were impossible to ignore.
From longer rides to tougher trails, I needed a bike that could keep up with my pace without holding me back. Here’s why the Pedal AWD [ S ] easily pulled ahead and earned my permanent spot in the saddle.
The ebike that delivers serious power and range… Pedal
I’m constantly chasing new trails, squeezing adventure into busy days, and relying on my gear to keep up, so power and performance are non-negotiable. That’s where Pedal absolutely crushes it.

With dual 1000W motors (front and rear wheel drive you can toggle between), a larger battery, and a faster controller, the AWD [ S ] leaves the SUPER73-R Adventure Series LE in the dust. The speed (up to 36mph!) and torque are noticeably stronger, and with up to an 80 mile range, Pedal lets me go farther without limits.
The better value ebike… Pedal
At $3,500, the Pedal AWD [ S ] packs in serious performance, durability, and customization for about $1,000 less than the SUPER73-R Adventure Series LE, which starts around $4,500.
With the Pedal, you get way more bang for your buck, offering better features like greater battery power, dual motors, and more add-on options. Every cent of the cost goes into giving you more power, more speed, more action. It’s even cool to look at with a smooth, Cali vibe that always gets you a second look by others on any road ortrail. You can get pretty much anything and everything you could want from an ebike with the Pedal AWD [ S ], so it’s pretty clear who’s offering the better value.
If you value customization and accessories… both have options
Both Pedal and SUPER73 offer ways to customize your ride, from different accessories to styling upgrades. But if you’re really chasing performance, Pedal edges ahead. Over and above the option for dual battery setups for even more range, there are cargo racks, front and rear racks, even a surf rack! Pedal’s add-ons aren’t just cosmetic — they’re functional upgrades that seriously enhance your experience.
SUPER73 holds its own with accessory offerings, but when it comes to riding longer and harder, Pedal’s upgrade options make a noticeable impact. For that reason, I'd call this category close to a tie.
The ebike that’s actually built for two riders… Pedal
One of the first things I noticed when testing both bikes was how cramped the SUPER73 felt when riding two-up. Pedal’s AWD [ S ] frame is larger, more stable, and actually designed with passengers in mind. Even if you're giving a friend a lift, the ride stays comfortable, balanced, and fun. There is no struggling to fit because it’s a bike that’s built for more than just solo rides. That extra space makes a huge difference.
If comfort matters just as much as performance… Pedal

You can have all the power in the world, but if the ride isn’t comfortable, you’re not going to want to stay out long. That’s another reason Pedal won me over. The AWD [ S ] comes with full suspension for a smooth, shock-absorbing ride, and its hybrid tires grip just as well on pavement as they do off-road.
Compared to the SUPER73, every bump and turn felt way more manageable. For longer rides, commuting, or just exploring new trails, Pedal gives you the best of both worlds.
Fellow adventurers, your Pedal AWD [S] awaits you
The AWD [ S ] delivers more power, more comfort, more customization — and it does it all with the kind of quality and performance serious riders need. Whether you’re chasing trails, commuting across town, or just living for the next spontaneous experience, Pedal gives you the freedom to go farther and ride harder without compromise. If you’re ready for a true upgrade in your electric biking experience, the Pedal AWD [ S ] is where the journey really begins.
