I may be keeping my dress a secret, but there is one thing I can’t stop talking to fellow brides about: Shapewear. I know, not usually at the top of your list as the big day approaches, but I picked a dress that is more form fitting and was stressing out about making sure it still fit perfectly throughout the big day and didn’t show any bloat. While there are a lot of shapewear brands out there, the brand I’ll recommend to anyone who will listen is Honeylove.
I am OBSESSED with Honeylove. I originally was introduced to the brand because I kept seeing Instagram ads, and loved that they featured women of all shapes and sizes looking amazing and confident in every outfit they paired with Honeylove shapewear. I finally decided to buy their Queen Brief style to try it out and it exceeded my expectations.
A quick rundown of why this shapewear is superior to other shapewear:
- Honeylove’s Queen Brief has flexible side boning which prevents it from rolling down. You don’t have to worry about pulling up your shapewear on the dance floor or having a rope around your waist as soon as you sit down. I’ve done several dance tests in my living room, and can confirm this thing stays put!
- Honeylove also fits like a glove, but isn’t too constricting. It helped keep my back and tummy smooth, and went all the way up to below my bra which helps ensure there aren’t any bulges showing through my dress and keeps post-dinner bloating at a minimum.
- Sliding into Honeylove made me feel killer about my curves, and feel really sexy. It feels more like I’m wearing lingerie than shapewear! My wedding dress was the most beautiful thing I think I’ll ever put on (which is exciting but also kind of intimidating) so I wanted something underneath that helped me feel confident.
