Making the Most of Every Cup with Art of Tea

It’s true, I’ve been known to romanticize coffee shop culture. To my defense, stopping in a café for a special treat is a source of joy. You already know the delights of coffee shops, but as someone who works remotely, it’s also a little treat to kickstart my productivity.

However, as delightful as this ritual is, the costs do add up. That's when I discovered a sustainable and enriching alternative that enhances my daily routine—Art of Tea.

First off, YUM

Art of Tea isn’t just another tea brand; it's a premium experience that offers an incredible variety of blends like green, white, oolong, black, pu-er, matcha, caffeine-free options, chais, and iced teas. Their extensive collection is crafted with care, ensuring a perfect match for every mood and occasion.

For example, their Peach Oolong Tea is a revelation with its delicate balance of fruity sweetness and rich oolong base—a sophisticated upgrade from my usual coffee choices. Other favorites include the caffeine-free Lemon Meringue for a sweet treat and the soothing blends of Sleep Tea and Soothe Tea for a relaxing end to my day.

Getting more from every cup

When I committed to home brewing, the stark difference in cost between my café indulgences and making Art of Tea teas at home was eye-opening. The average cost of a 12 oz drink at my local coffee shop is $4.90, but if you want a larger or fancier one, you’re looking at $8 or more per cup.

With Art of Tea, a $22 tin of their premium loose leaf can brew more than 50 cups of tea, bringing the cost down to $0.37 per cup. Not only am I saving significantly with Art of Tea, but I'm also enjoying superior quality and flavor in every cup, enhancing both my budget and my daily tea experience.

Elevating the home brewing experience

I wouldn’t be satisfied with just any cup of tea every day forever, so I set out to change things. The brewing process is the same, but I can build on it as I see fit…

With just a $7 frother and ingredients I already have in my fridge, I can whip up tea lattes that are A) delish and B) an unexpected creative outlet. A splash of almond milk, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a sprinkle of cinnamon, you get the idea – because I’m using ingredients I already keep on hand, making these lattes couldn’t be easier.

Don’t even get me started on pairing my new signature tea lattes with different snacks and treats…it’s become a passion. And with less coffee and more herbal goodness in my system, I’m noticeably calmer.

I keep hyping the quality, here’s what I mean

What sets Art of Tea apart isn't just their blends; it's their commitment to quality and sustainability. Based in Los Angeles, they source their teas directly from growers and each blend carries the unique story of the land and people from which it was grown.

They go beyond being Fair Trade to what they call Direct Care Trade, which means they have a transparent relationship with the growers. Their teas hold USDA-certified organic and kosher status, and Art of Tea embodies the artistry and passion that goes into every cup. It seems like big talk, I know, but I swear you can taste the quality when you drink this tea.

Art of Tea is gonna be a yes from me

Making the switch from daily coffee shop trips to making Art of Tea at home has been a revelation. I couldn’t have anticipated the benefits of exploring new blends, dreaming up personal creations, and healing my nervous system. It's about reclaiming my ritual and embracing a lifestyle that's both enriching and sustainable. 10/10 recommend.
