Figuring out what to make my kids for dinner each night can be a challenge. I want to make them healthy meals, but I also work full time and don't always have much time to spend in the kitchen. We tried to do a meal plan, but it failed. It had been made clear to me that it was time for a change, and that's when I discovered all that Little Spoon had to offer.

Little Spoon is a meal delivery service that sends you pre-made, healthy meals for your kids each week. The best part is that they have a wide variety of different meals to choose from, so kids aren't stuck eating the same thing over and over again. I also love that the meals are made with fresh, organic ingredients.

Little Spoon Review

One of the things I was most worried about with Little Spoon was whether or not my kids would eat the food. I'm happy to report that they've been loving it! My picky eater even tried a new food (quinoa!) and said she liked it.

My favorite thing about Little Spoon is how they package healthy foods into kid-friendly ways. For example, their "Superfood Mac and Cheese" is made with butternut squash, sweet potato, and carrots, and their "Cookies and Cream" Smoothie is made up of pear, oat milk, chickpeas, dates, quinoa, and cocoa powder.

I also really like that the meals are quick and easy to make. The plates are all prepackaged and can be cooked either in the oven, microwave, or even air fryer without any prep required - a huge perk for me since I often don't have much time after work to get dinner on the table.

We also tried some of the Babyblends (or purees) for my baby, and I loved that they are organic and have no added sugar. They also came with mini spoons attached to each one, making it really easy to bring them on the go with me. When she's older, I'm looking forward to introducing her to the Stage 2 and 3 blends, like Cran-Apple Pie (cinnamon, apple, quinoa, and cranberry) and Blueberry Purple Carrot (flax, currant, pear, kumat).

Is it Worth it?

Little Spoon has quality and convenience that's unmatched and is definitely worth trying over other options in the market. The nice thing is that the meals can be frozen - even opened Babyblends - so that you can always have a healthy meal on hand. The Babyblends are really big portions so you could easily get 2-3 servings out of each container.

Little Spoon Pricing

Subscriptions for Little Spoon are broken into 3 categories: Babyblends, Plates, and Smoothies and are sent twice a month, and each box contains 2 weeks of meals. The meals can either be served within 2 weeks or frozen to last longer. Babyblends prices start at $2.74 a blend, Plates start at $4.99 a meal, and Smoothies start at $2.49 a smoothie.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I'm impressed with Little Spoon and the quality of the food we received. The food is affordable and convenient, and my daughter loves the taste! I love that the ingredients are all such high quality, and nothing extra or artificial is added. I would highly recommend giving Little Spoon a try to make dinner time a breeze!
