Little Spoon Lunchers vs. Lunchables: Which Lunch is Right For Your Picky Eater?

As a busy mom of two, my mind is going a mile a minute with schedules, homework, laundry, grocery lists, etc. The last thing I want to worry about is my kids' lunch, but every night I find myself scrambling to find something new and exciting to pack them. It can be hard to find lunch and snack options that are healthy, filling, fun, and quick for me to put together.

I recently heard that Little Spoon had some new lunch options for my older kids and I decided to put them to the test. I know Little Spoon is great for little ones but how do their new Lunchers stack up against a Lunchable? Read on to follow along on my journey to make lunch simple yet fun for my family!

If You’re Looking For Healthy On The Go Lunches… Little Spoon Lunchers

When my Little Spoon order arrived, I looked at the ingredients on the Lunchers and was floored! Every lunch option is made with nutritious non-GMO ingredients and there are hidden veggies in every meal.

My daughter refuses to eat vegetables so if I can somehow sneak them into a fun lunch that she will actually eat then I will be one happy mom! Since Lunchers are a fully balanced meal with over 10 grams of protein, my son actually felt full after eating these. He could probably eat two Lunchables because they never give him the fuel he needs to get on with his day of activities.

If You Want Lunchtime To Be Fun And Exciting… Little Spoon Lunchers

It’s really hard to keep lunch options fresh and fun. I get bored making them so I’m sure my kids are bored eating the same things every day. When I try to take my kids to the store to pick new lunch options they might like, they always go for the junk food and end up snacking all afternoon.

Little Spoon manages to keep lunch fun with make-your-own pizza and even chicken nuggets that have a yogurt-based ranch for dipping. Plus, they have a ton of snack options to supplement lunchtime like their cookie Dipsters or cheesy Veggie Loops. The best part is that everything is packed with flavor, something I found to be missing from Lunchables that taste stale and processed.

If You Are Worried About Price… Lunchables

Being budget-conscious, I often hunt for cost-effective solutions. Yep, Lunchables can be a steal at times, priced as low as $2 or even their "Uploaded" boxes for under $5. Hey, I get it. Some weeks the purse strings are a little tighter, and we lean toward what's light on the wallet.

But when you can stretch the budget a tad more, give Little Spoon Lunchers a shot. Starting at $7.92, they might seem pricier, but trust me, the bang for your buck is there. They're top-notch in quality and keep the kiddos full for way longer. So, in the end, you might just find them munching less on other snacks. Sounds like a win-win, right?

If You Are Tired of Grocery Shopping… Little Spoon Lunchers

I feel as though I am always at the grocery store. I plan my list for days, going through the fridge and pantry, and yet I still somehow miss something or need more of another thing.

Little Spoon can be delivered right to you so you have lunches covered without having to step foot in the store. I was able to build a plan for my family to get 7, 11, or 14 meals at each delivery. Anything that I can do to make my life easier while keeping my kids happy is a win!

The Ultimate Winner… Little Spoon Lunchers

My kids loved everything in their Little Spoon Lunchers! The meals were more nutritious than anything I would ever pack for them, and my daughter never once wondered if she was actually eating something that was good for her.

For me, making sure my kids learn to enjoy mealtime while putting healthy ingredients into their growing bodies is extremely important which is why I am all in with Little Spoon Lunchers now!
