Listen Up, Busy Working Moms: This Is the Time and Money-Saving Hack I Swear By

Shopping isn’t high on my list as a busy working mom. My “5-9” after the “9-5” and weekends are reserved for spending quality time with my two kids, which doesn’t leave me time to browse my local boutiques. At the same time, my current wardrobe feels a little bland—I crave extra flair in my personal and work outfits! 👗

I recently learned about Armoire’s clothing rentals, and let me just say that it has revived my closet. From one working mom to another, neither of us has time to read a whole article, so here’s why you need Armoire:

1. Renting through Armoire means you won’t spend money on clothes that will collect dust in your closet

Impulse buyers, raise your hands! 🙋‍♀️ Even if I really love a purchase, 90% of the time I drop money on a shirt or dress, only to have it collect dust in my closet. It’s not economical or sustainable.

The retail value of all of the items in my first 6-item case from Armoire would have been nearly $1,700. I rented everything for just $139! And since I am on the unlimited plan, I can swap these items out an unlimited amount of times for no extra cost. 🤩

2. You can check laundry off your to-do list—Armoire offers free cleaning

As a mom to two little ones (and a husband), I cannot even begin to describe how many loads of laundry I do a week. Being able to send back my Armoire clothes for SOMEONE ELSE to clean is like the best mom hack ever! Armoire also covers minor damages, so it’s a completely stress-free experience. 😌

3. Armoire stops decision fatigue by suggesting pieces that are truly perfect for you

One of my biggest concerns about renting was that I’d see endless options that I didn’t really like. I don’t have enough time in the day to sift through pages of things I wouldn’t wear!

Armoire does the opposite: their quick, 5-minute style quiz uses a combination of AI and professional stylist input to curate a dynamic closet that is unique to you. Armoire members may see fewer suggestions in their closet, but it’s totally intentional—you’ll only get recommendations Armoire thinks you’ll adore. 😍

Let me just confirm that EVERY item in my closet felt like it was really “for me.” I’m obsessed with their workwear options—this Equipment button-up was perfect paired with black slacks, and I loved showing off the collar of this pretty Yumi Kim blouse during my Zoom meetings. 💻

4. Armoire has 3 plan types for different clothing budgets & needs

A lot of clothing rentals offer just 1 plan with a set amount of items per month. Armoire has 3 tiers: 4 items for $89/month, 7 items for $119/month, and the unlimited plan for $249/month (with a $110 discount on your first month!).

Shipping and returns are always free, and you can change, pause, or cancel your membership at any time.

I wound up opting for the unlimited plan knowing that I had multiple work presentations, a date night, and plans with my kiddos all coming up, because the unlimited plan allows you to swap out your clothes as many times as you want. On the other hand, I love that I have the option to downgrade my plan during slow months.

To my fellow working moms: Armoire is the best time & money-saving hack I know

Working moms know that time is of the essence, but that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your wardrobe, either. Armoire makes renting so easy by offering multiple plans and so many “frees”: free shipping, returns, cleaning, and personal styling. If you want a new closet without breaking the bank, Armoire is a must!
