As a busy mom of two young kids, I'm always on the lookout for healthy, convenient food options that will get me through the day. That's why I love smoothie subscription boxes–I'm able to squeeze in daily fruits and vegetables without having to spend a lot of time prepping or cooking. I tried three popular options–kencko, Daily Harvest, and Revive Superfoods–to see how they stack up.

If you're looking for an on-the-go treat...kencko

I love making smoothies, but the only time I have to make them usually falls around my kids’ nap times or while I'm on the go, so frozen smoothies that require a loud blender like Revive Superfoods and Daily Harvest just aren’t an option for me. I don’t even have to make my kencko smoothie at home if I’m in a rush–as long as I bring my freeze-dried kencko packet and a bottle of water, I have everything I need for a portable nutrition boost.

If you're looking for a user-friendly, shelf-stable smoothie...kencko

I really appreciate kencko’s convenient, freeze-dried packs that I can simply add to my water bottle or shaker cup for a delicious treat–it hardly takes any time out of my day! The fact that kencko is so easy to use benefits my busy mom schedule in a major way.

I also love that kencko smoothies are freeze-dried instead of frozen: frozen smoothies like Revive Superfoods and Daily Harvest can arrive thawed and unusable, but I don’t have to worry about my kencko smoothies being past their prime. Kencko smoothies are shelf-stable, so you can count on these packets being delicious for a while in your pantry.

If you're looking for the best-tasting smoothie...kencko

The most important thing for me is that my smoothies taste great, and kencko had the best-tasting smoothie! These smoothies were balanced in flavor, without any overpowering ingredients. I also enjoyed the mix of both fruits and vegetables in each smoothie.

While Daily Harvest and Revive Superfoods offer fun combinations like Mint + Cacao and Apple + Black Tea, the flavor just didn’t hold a candle to kencko’s options.

If you're looking for more than smoothies...Daily Harvest & Revive Superfoods Tie

Daily Harvest is unique because, in addition to smoothies, they also offer Harvest Bowls, Soups, and even Flatbreads. Similarly, Revive Superfoods dishes out Super Meals, Soups, Oats, plus Bites and Frozen Desserts for around-the-clock cravings.

On the other hand, kencko offers Gumdrops, a sweet treat without the added sugar, as well as some truly delicious bowls. Kencko’s pure fruit and vegetable gumdrops are the perfect afternoon pick-me-up: they even count as one of your 5 servings of fruit and vegetables per day! With delectable flavors like “appletastic” and “gingerella”, I always carry a packet of these around to give me fuel when I’m lacking energy.

Kencko’s bowls are as easy to make as the smoothies–just add hot water–and are packed with 4 or 5 servings of your daily veggies, plus loads of fiber for digestive health. Though the variety falls a bit short in comparison to Daily Harvest and Revive Superfoods, I can’t get enough of kencko’s “menu” featuring cheeky names like “beet that” (beetroot soup) and “speed dhal” (lentil dhal).

If you're on a budget...kencko

Of all the smoothie delivery services, kencko is the most affordable. Their subscription plans start at $2.50 per smoothie, compared to companies like Revive Superfoods and Daily Harvest, which start at well over $5 a smoothie.

The ultimate winner...kencko!

If you're looking for a healthy, convenient, and affordable way to get your fruits and vegetables, kencko is the clear winner. With their easy-to-use freeze-dried packs, you can make a delicious smoothie anywhere, without any of the mess or noise of a traditional blender. Plus, their low sugar content makes them a great option for those watching their sugar intake. In my eyes, kencko is the way to go!
