Hush vs. Casper vs. Endy: We Tried 3 Mattresses So You Don’t Have To

My number-one priority is making sure my family is the most comfortable when they come over for overnight visits. So when my husband and I bought a new house, we knew our guest bedroom needed a top-of-the-line mattress! After all, my mom needs a good night’s sleep so she has the energy to watch my 1-year-old son…😉

My husband and I tried both Hush, Casper, and Endy mattresses, and ultimately decided that we had a clear winner. Not gonna lie, my husband fell asleep mid-conversation while I was asking him if he liked the winning mattress…

If you don’t want to be woken up by your S.O. tossing & turning… Hush

The first night that I slept on our new Hush Arctic Luxe mattress, I closed my eyes and then the next thing I knew, I opened my eyes and it was morning. I can’t tell you the last time I slept through the night so soundly!

The Hush mattress is so good because it’s made with individually wrapped steel coils, meaning when pressure is applied to one coil, it doesn’t affect the coil next to it, isolating movement. So, even if my husband moves around throughout the night, I’ll sleep soundly. The coils are softer at the top and bottom, and stronger in the middle, where more support is needed. This triple zoned support = proper sleep posture.

While I did find the Casper and Endy mattresses to be comfortable, I didn’t sleep through the night as consistently as I did on our new Hush mattress.

If you want to stay cool all night long… Hush

While both Casper and Hush have cooling technology in their mattresses, the Hush Arctic Luxe mattress takes the cake. It has 3 layers of cooling materials versus 1 that most Casper mattresses offer. Endy’s mattresses have open-cell foam to provide more airflow than traditional memory foam, but I still felt pretty hot throughout the night.

Hush’s cooling foam layers are seriously more powerful than any other mattress I have laid on, and I am someone who often wakes up in the middle of the night with a damp shirt and the blanket thrown off my body. It’s also nontoxic and antibacterial to combat bacteria and smells.

If price is a consideration… It’s a tie between Hush & Endy

If you’re looking for the least expensive hybrid mattress of the three, Endy and Hush win here. When comparing twin-sized hybrid mattress options from all three brands, Hush costs $925, Endy costs $975, and Casper costs around $1,195 (all prices are in CAD). Endy and Casper have basic, non-hybrid models that are even cheaper, but for most mattress models, Endy and Hush are less pricey.

While I do believe it’s hard to put a price on a good night’s sleep, I also want to get the most value when shopping for my home and found that Hush and Endy were a much better price.

If you’re someone who wants a ton of options to pick from… Casper

Casper’s online mattress shopping experience is great because you can easily view the support and cooling levels for all seven of their different models. If you’re someone who knows how soft or firm you like your mattress, Casper’s ergonomic support rating system will be really helpful while browsing your options.

Hush has two mattress styles and Endy has three styles (two regular styles, plus an RV mattress), but if you’re like me and options overwhelm you, that might even be a good thing!

If you want a mattress that will last… Hush

The first few weeks we slept on the Casper and Endy mattresses, they were really comfortable and I slept well. But after a few months, the foam construction on both began to sag and dip in the middle.

I love that the Hush mattress is a hybrid of springs for support and foam for comfort. Not only does this hybrid design make a perfectly balanced mattress, but it will really last. Hush mattresses are backed by a 100-night trial and a 10-year warranty, which says it all!

And the winner is… Hush!

Hands-down, the Hush mattress was my family’s clear favorite. I’m starting to think my family is coming to visit just to sleep on it! My husband and I ended up ordering a King Hush mattress for our primary bedroom, and it was a no-brainer thanks to Hush’s installment plans. Take it from us–buy Hush and you’ll have the best sleep of your life!
