How KiwiCo Made Us Love Art Time Again

Confession: I cringe every time my daughter suggests doing an art project.

I love doing crafts with my kids and spending time with them, but I absolutely hate the planning, prepping, and (most of all) clean-up that's usually involved. A 15-minute project that looks easy on Pinterest ends up taking nearly 3 hours when it's all said and done. By that point, my toddler's lost interest, my kitchen table is a disaster, and I somehow have paint in my hair.

When I saw an ad on Facebook for KiwiCo, I was instantly interested. KiwiCo offers STEM, Science, and Art kits for kids of all ages. What really sparked my interest was not only were these all-in-one boxes, but they also were actually an educational activity. Sold!

We decided to try out the Speedy Race Cars Play Kit for my 3-year-old daughter and were impressed at how quickly it arrived. Inside the box was everything we needed to complete the project - plus the box actually converted into a ramp for us to test out our new race cars.

I really liked that while the project seemed like it could be complicated, it was broken down into easy-to-follow instructions that my 3-year-old could actually help with. The kit came with all the materials we needed to make 2 cars and lots of stickers to decorate our cars.

In under 15 minutes, we had fully functioning race cars, and my daughter was so proud that she could build the whole thing (with only a little help from mom). I was really happy that the project kept her attention the entire time, and there was pretty much no mess!

KiwiCo Pros and Cons

Pros:

- All-in-one project kit so there is no need to run to the store for supplies

- Easy to follow instructions, even for kids

- Can be completed in under 15 minutes

- Educational

-Easy Clean Up

-Finished projects can be reused (we're still using our race cars!)

Cons

None!

Is KiwiCo Worth it?

KiwiCo Crates have been absolutely worth it for us. My daughter loves getting a new box in the mail and can't wait to see what project we'll be doing next. I love that they're educational and don't require a lot of my time or effort to prep. And clean-up is a breeze! I also love that the projects can be played with after completing them. The race cars have quickly become my daughter's new favorite toy to play with!

In addition to the craft crates, KiwiCo also has educational toys like the Rainbow Ball Run, where babies can use a wooden ball to make different sounds. Both my baby and toddler have been entertained with it for hours!

Final Thoughts

Overall I'm really impressed with KiwiCo and am looking forward to ordering more crates for my kids. The crates have made art time fun again (for both my kids and me!), and I love that they're learning while they play.

If you're looking for a fun and educational activity for your kids, I would highly recommend KiwiCo!
