Hello Skincare Lash Therapy vs. Rodan+Fields Lash Boost: The Battle for Long Lashes

As a Jersey-born model living in California, my face is my business card, which means I make skincare my priority. And that means taking care of my lashes to combat the effects of loading up on mascara and overusing strip eyelashes (plus, lash extensions are expensive).

That’s why I decided to give lash serums a try with Hello Skincare and Rodan+Fields being the ones I splurged on. Find out which one I think is worth the hype.

For efficacy… Hello Skincare

Naturally, the first thing you want to know about a product is how fast and effective it is. Well, I can happily say that I saw faster results with Hello Skincare’s Lash Therapy. In just two months, I noticed a massive difference in my eyelashes. They looked longer and healthier, and other people in my life were noticing, too! Hello Skincare uses a unique blend of peptides, vegan stem cells, vitamins, and amino acids to take your lashes to a whole new level of length and fullness.

Although R+F also worked, it wasn’t as fast as Hello Skincare–not only do you have to be more patient, but you will also be going through a lot of product before seeing any big changes. With Lash Therapy, my lashes felt fuller and less spidery, which was a huge win for me.

For clean ingredients… Hello Skincare

I’m very conscious about what I put in or on my body, and that means always choosing the cleanest ingredient list possible. Hello Skincare’s formulation definitely wins here: with Aloe vera to calm the skin, hyaluronic acid to moisturize, Swiss Apple stem cells to regenerate, and green tea extract for anti-aging, I’m feeling good about what I’m using.

Although R+F includes biotin and keratin, their ingredients list seems like it has more chemicals. I love that Hello Skincare’s Lash Therapy uses both Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17 and Myristoyl Hexapeptide-16, which are peptides added specifically for lash health!

For subscribe & save options… Hello Skincare

Even when a product is well worth the splurge, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to save a little money on something you’ll be repurchasing.

The winner here for me was Hello Skincare’s Lash Therapy because 4ml, which will last you 6 months, comes up to $128. However, if you decide to sign up for a subscription, it’ll come down to $108. And if 4ml is too much for you, you can purchase a 2ml product for $78 (or $66.30 if you subscribe).

On the other hand, Rodan+Fields only offers a 5ml and it is over $155 ($139 if you sign up for PC Perks). Although it’s 1ml more than Hello Skincare’s lash serum, Hello Skincare has the edge in price when you subscribe to the 4ml refills.

For routine building… Rodan+Fields

Rodan+Fields understands that one size doesn’t fit all, so they offer a custom skincare service where they can tell you which of their products you can pair with their lash serum in order to get the best results. If you’re aiming for beautiful eyes, you can pair the lash serum with a bright eye complex that gets rid of any signs of fatigue and aging. R+F also has a wide range of products to ensure your entire skincare routine is compatible.

Hello Skincare has only developed three different products (so far!) including their lash serum, so you can’t yet build an entire skincare routine.

My Long-Lashes Hero…Hello Skincare

After trying both products, I fell in love with Hello Skincare’s. Not only is it more affordable than R+F, but it also has more plant-derived ingredients than the competition. I also love the fact that I don’t have to subscribe myself to buying the biggest size simply because it’s the only one they offer.

On top of that, I love how quickly I see results with Hello Skincare — it makes it worth the splurge. So if you’re looking to rehabilitate your lashes after overusing strip eyelashes or getting eyelash extensions that leave your eyes irritated, I highly recommend you try Hello Skincare’s Lash Therapy for your longest, most luscious lashes yet.
