Fit Check: 4 Outfits I Put Together Using My Latest Armoire Case

...and it was almost effortless 💅

PSA for any fashionistas out there: it’s not cheating to use a stylist. In fact, I’ve found my style has become much more daring ever since I invited another stylish eye in on my decisions. It’s been SO fun.

This is where I’ll let you in on my little secret and the easiest way to collab with a stylist: Armoire. This clothing rental service is a game-changer, offering so much versatility and opportunity for my personal taste to shine.

So you can see why I’m obsessed, I’m going to let my favorite outfits from my most recent delivery do the talking:

1. Brunch babes unite

  • Madewell The Dadjean Ripped Jeans
  • Hutch Hart Long Sleeve Open-Back Organza Top

I could not have anticipated how good I would feel in this outfit. The sheer, flouncy sleeves of the blouse are ridiculously romantic, while the holes in the jeans bring it down a notch. The literal only option in this look was to call my sister, grab a matcha, and have a downtown photoshoot on the way to brunch.

One of the joys of renting clothing from Armoire is browsing the tailored-to-you items on their site. Since you start with a 5-minute quiz to convey your style and preferences, your personalized closet is pages and pages of only items you’ll probably love—some squarely in your comfort zone and some aspirational ideas.

For example, I’m a millennial and have been wanting to try the Gen Z trend of looser jeans, but hadn’t found a pair that worked for me yet. This pair is the best of both worlds, and was zero risk to try.

2. Day trip slick

  • Paige Longsleeve Manhattan Jumpsuit

I know the denim jumpsuit is about to be trending for spring, so I had to hop on board and see what it’s all about. Umm, I get it now. It’s super comfortable.

But okay, let’s get real for a second. Clothing from a rental service has likely been worn by someone else. (Unless you score an item that’s new with tags, which actually happens quite often.) Yet I didn’t hesitate for a second before zipping myself into this thing because Armoire has free cleaning on all items. That means everything that arrives is totally fresh and clean, and, bonus, you have less laundry to do.

Note on free stuff: they also have free shipping both ways and free styling, but you don’t have to work with a stylist if you don’t want!

3. Cocktails al fresco, anyone?

  • NVLT Faux Sherling Double Breasted Jacket

Have you ever spotted an article of clothing, and you just knew it was meant for you? That’s how I felt when I saw this gorgeous pink coat on Armoire

Living in California, I don’t need a coat like this all the time. That’s why renting it feels perfect for me. I can hang onto this guy for as long as I want and live out my fur-lined, pop-of-pink, chilly outdoor dinner dreams while the last of (our admittedly mild) winter lingers around, then send it back so I can make space for the next heart-eyes item I’m excited to try.

4. Off to the office

  • Pistola Aline High-Rise Skinny Raw Hem Jean
  • Laundry by Shelli Segal Wide Sleeve Cozy Turtleneck Sweater

It was so nice having one less work outfit to configure from my usual tired office-casual wardrobe. I was excited about these two rental pieces this week, and they felt natural to throw on. They were just as easy to make look pulled-together with my glasses and go-to ankle boots. Done.

To what new heights will your style soar with Armoire?

Armoire has so many different high-end, high-quality pieces to choose from, including name brands like Paige and Rag & Bone, Madewell, French Connection, and more. When you sign up and submit your quiz, your shopping view will be catered to your tastes.

From there you can rent 4 items per month at $89, 7 per month at $119, or 6 at a time with unlimited swaps for $249/month. Free shipping and returns, free cleaning, free styling if that appeals. Endless wardrobe possibilities!
