I know athleisure as a fashion trend can be divisive, but as a fitness trainer, I’m so grateful that athletic wear is acceptable to wear on the street. I mean, I was already wearing my gym clothes 24 hours a day even though I know that embarrassed everyone around me (mostly my mom).
But with so many options nowadays, it can be hard to decide which activewear brand to go with. For me, I was torn between Fabletics and Athleta (from Gap), so I decided to try both. Here are my thoughts.

While you can occasionally find a gem at Athleta, I find the styles a bit basic. Like I mentioned earlier, I wear my fitness clothing a lot — I’m always at the gym, shooting content for my followers, or just running from a workout without time to change in between. That’s why I really like how Fabletics has a wide variety of styles and performance wear in different colors and patterns. I would totally hit the club in some of my Fabletic outfits and nobody would even blink. On the other hand, Athleta is way more basic, and to be honest, I’m not basic, so I don’t want to look basic either.

Okay, my husband isn’t as big of a fitness fanatic as I am, but we work out together sometimes and I think it’s cute to match. Plus, because they have so many styles, color, and pattern options, it’s easy to find something that works for different body types and skin tones.
