I'm a busy guy. I work out (or at least try to) pretty much every day, and I’m usually bouncing between work, the gym, errands, dinner plans, and whatever else I somehow agreed to that week. At this point, I really don’t want to own pants that only work for one specific occasion. If I’m spending money on something, I want to be able to wear it to work, throw it in a suitcase for a trip, go out to dinner in it, and still actually be comfortable.
The other issue is fit. I lift pretty heavy, so finding pants that fit my waist and my quads without looking like skinny jeans or being huge everywhere else is harder than it should be. That’s what made me want to compare two pairs I kept seeing everywhere: the Fabletics Don Pant and Lululemon ABC Pant. I wore both and compared them on the five things that actually matter to me - mobility, price, comfort, fit, and variety. Here’s how they stacked up:

For me, Fabletics wins where it actually matters. The Don Pant is stretchier, more comfortable, and (huge for me as someone who lifts) actually fits my quads without any weird gapping. Lululemon wins on color options, but that’s about the only category where I’d choose the ABC Pant outright. While it's a solid pant, the Don was just more memorable in these categories.
Then there’s the price. New Fabletics VIP members can get the Don Pant for just $19, versus $128 for the ABC Pant. At that price, I genuinely don’t think there’s much of a debate. If you’ve been looking for one pair of pants that can handle work, travel, dinner, and everything in between, I’d start with the Don Pant. Easily.
