My dog Taffy isn't a very food-motivated rescue dog, and she's pretty picky, too. On top of that, she has very reactive skin & fur coat, especially when she’s eating–you have no idea how many dog food brands, flavors, and options I’ve tried.
So, when Sundays came onto my radar, Taffy and I gave it a try, with pretty amazing results…
Before trying Sundays
I would see videos of dogs being overly excited when their furry parents brought in a new bag of food, and I always wondered why Taffy never did that! She usually just leaves it alone and her brothers will finish her food. Additionally, Taffy suffers from balding periodically, and we oftentimes have to switch her food from kibble to rice & vegetables when she flares up, which really helps.
When my first Sundays bag arrived, Taffy did not hesitate! She dove right into that food and ate all of her food faster than her brothers–which has never happened before. Never.

Life after switching to Sundays
I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but Taffy is a completely different dog now. I never thought changing her diet would make such a difference!
Typically, she is very reserved and sort of “lazy.” But after switching her diet, she’s now running around her bowl, wagging her tail, wanting everyone to pet her.
She even tried to open the Sundays bag with her teeth and go back for more! We’ve seriously never had to worry about her breaking into the food bag. Plus, Sundays offers free domestic shipping on all orders, so it doesn’t cost me more than if I picked up standard kibble from the store.
Taffy is also much more social, likely because she now has the energy she’s missing from her food. I’ve noticed such an improvement in her coat, skin, and overall health!
I should’ve switched to Sundays earlier
To be honest, after seeing these changes, I felt kind of guilty for not having done the switch earlier. Sundays is definitely a must-have dog food for all picky eaters out there. Healthier dog = happier dog = happier hooman!
