Battle of the Diapers: DYPER vs. Honest Co

As a mom, I always want the best for my baby, and choosing a diaper for her is one of the most important decisions I make. With so many options on the market, how do I decide which is the best for her?

I know I want something that will keep her comfortable, but I also want a diaper that's free from all the harsh chemicals. And I definitely don't want anything that's going to leak - I already have enough laundry to do every day!

It seems like every day there's a new diaper on the market, each one claiming to be better than the last. I had the opportunity to try out two of the leading clean diaper subscription services Honest Company and DYPER and put them to the test.

If you're looking for absorbency...DYPER

While both held up to my daughter's "messes," I found that DYPER kept her cleaner and was less likely to have a blowout than Honest Co. The DYPER diapers were a little wider, which helped keep everything contained and avoid any leaks.

If you're looking for softness...DYPER

DYPER diapers are made with bamboo, making them incredibly soft - like your favorite pair of yoga pants. They're also hypoallergenic and free of harmful chemicals. I love knowing that my daughter is wearing something soft and comfortable. Get $20 Off Dyper here.

If you want cute designs....Honest Co

Honest Co has some of the cutest designs I've ever seen. There are tons of fun patterns to choose from, and they're always adding to the collection. However, my baby's diaper is always covered with a onesie and pants so this isn't as important of a feature to me as the actual performance of the diaper (a.k.a that it actually works and keeps my daughter comfortable!)

If you're looking for an eco-friendly...DYPER

Babies spend a lot of time in their diapers so it's essential for me to choose a clean diaper that's free of chemicals. Both DYPER and Honest Co are made with clean products; however, I loved that DYPER is Standard 100 certified by OEKO TEX, a leading global authority on textile safety and sustainability.

What’s more, with the optional REDYPER™ program, DYPER has taken landfills out of the equation. They'll pick up your soiled diapers from your doorstep and centrally process them into nutrient-rich soil, creating a closest-to-zero footprint diapering experience.

Wetness Indicator...It's a Tie!

One of my must-haves when buying diapers is to have a wetness indicator - or something on the diaper that lets me know when it's wet. I like to change my baby as soon as possible to avoid any discomfort, so this is a must for me. However, in my experience with eco-friendly diapers in the past, this was a feature most of them didn't offer. DYPER offers this feature and Honest Co recently updated their design to include it so this is a tie!

If you're looking for the best fit...DYPER

DYPER diapers are a little wider than the Honest Co diapers and I found they fit my daughter better (which ended up saving a few outfits from blowouts). While DYPER is a little wider in size, they're still thin enough that baby can still move around without the diaper getting in the way.

So...What's the Verdict?

Both Honest Co and DYPER are great options for clean diapers - but if I had to choose one, I would go with DYPER. I love the cute designs that Honest Co has, but at the end of the day, I need something that is most comfortable for my baby and keeps everything contained. I really liked the slightly larger size of the DYPER diapers and since they're made with bamboo they are incredibly soft! DYPER also offers cloth diapers which is another great eco-friendly option.

So there you have it - my verdict on the two leading diaper subscription services! Plus, get $20 off your first Dyper purchase here.
