How Trifecta Works
Signing up for personalized meal plans and nutrition coaching has never been easier! Trifecta offers a 2-in-1 approach that allows its customers access to convenient, ready-made meals that fit their unique health goals perfectly while receiving guidance from expert nutritionists. Why deal with the hassle of having to spend countless hours on shopping and meal prep when you can have everything you need delivered directly to you?
To start, all you need to do is select the right meal plan that fits your desired health goals. If you’re not sure which one to pick, you can take Trifecta’s 2-minute quiz to determine which plan is best for you.
Once you’ve selected your meal plan, you’ll then need to determine how many meals per day you want along with how many days per week you want to sign up for.
You can also select up to 2 items to exclude from your meals when checking out to best meet your dietary preferences.
After checking out, your pre-made, ready-to-eat meals will be shipped to you shortly.

Trifecta Nutrition Pros and Cons
- Most meal options are organic, grass-fed, wild-caught, and sustainably raised
- Offers a wide variety of options for meal plans and individual add-in items, like protein and rice
- Ideal for people who want to eat macro-balanced meals that aren’t overly strict and maintain some variety
- You can only exclude 2 ingredients total when checking out (not good for people with allergies or who are picky eaters)
- The majority of your meals are pre-selected and you can only choose the overall type of meal you receive (i.e. lunch, Clean Meal Plan)
- It’s not ideal for people who need perfectly portioned meals (think contest prep for bodybuilders) or those who have major allergies.

What Else You Should Know About Trifecta
Unlike most other meal subscription services, Trifecta offers free coaching and guidance from its team of nutritionists. It also allows customers to take an online quiz prior to ordering to find out which types of meals would best suit their goals. We have yet to come across another meal subscription service like this!
Is Trifecta Worth It?
If you’re willing to spend extra money to have balanced, ready-to-eat meals sent to you directly without the hassle of shopping or cooking, then Trifecta is most certainly worth the cost for what you receive in return. Keep in mind that although it can be more expensive than similar services, its additional costs are associated with the quality of ingredients you receive as well as the other perks they include as a part of your subscription. If you’re someone who’s looking for a cleaner, stricter meal subscription service then this should most certainly be your go-to.
How Trifecta Compares to Other Top Meal Subscriptions
Trifecta VS HelloFresh: Trifecta offers prepared meal catering that can be tailored to diets, such as keto or plant-based, whereas HelloFresh does not come prepared and offers meals that are more generic. HelloFresh starts at $7.49 per meal and is best for customers who want to cook their own meals for a cheaper price than what most pre-made subscription services cost. Trifecta starts at $12.99 per meal but provides overall cleaner ingredients and offers more meal options.
Trifecta VS Snap Kitchen: Both brands offer pre-made meals, but Trifecta surpasses Snap Kitchen in respect to the variety of meal options it offers and the types of ingredients it uses. Snap Kitchen starts at $10.50 per meal, making it the cheaper option, but it does not use as many organic ingredients and not all of its meat or protein options are grass-fed or wild-caught.
Trifecta VS Freshly: Both brands offer prepared food delivery services, but Trifecta offers more options for dietary preferences and uses higher quality ingredients overall, making it more expensive. Freshly starts at $9 per meal and is a great option for customers who prefer a more flexible approach to dieting. Trifecta starts at $12.99 but offers a wide variety of options for those who may have allergies or want to follow a stricter meal prep.
