I don't recommend buying from this company. It was my worst experience with a company so far! After getting a renewal charge just a month into my 3 month subscription, it took a month to get the money back. They never admitted to being in the wrong... they tried to make it seem like I was trying to cancel a subscription I had made. They also take a week to answer every email, so it takes forever to figure anything out. Now I'm trying to get the last two boxes from the original 3 month subscription. Once again, they take no accountability, and made it seem like I'm trying to get my boxes from the renewal that I got refunded for. They haven't messaged back for over a week, and I'm about to make a claim with my bank if I don't get an answer by the end of the month. I'm just so disappointed, because as a mom of 4 I don't buy myself much... I've looked at their box sets for years and finally decided to buy it for myself for my birthday and it's caused so much stress!

Agree with previous reviews. Boxes are months late and overpriced. A paper back book and some very small things. A bag of popcorn, or tea, or a candle. Not even close to $89 even with shipping. I thought it would be something nice for my mom to look forward to. But with excuse after excuse after excuse. Maybe buy a box already made or on sale. Don't buy a subscription. It's now mid-May and they are just shipping out March and April.

Really poor service. It is May and I am still waiting for March and April boxes. No defined date when they might arrive. Really don't care at this point as the contents are pretty cheap for the price paid. Tons of excuses given, but nothing in the mail. The excuses are getting really old. Can hardly wait for my year's subscription to end and will never deal with this business again.

It’s unbelievable to me that Sweet Reads is charging approximately $78 a box (with a 6 month subscription). I’m so upset with that arrived in my July box. One paperback novel, a shot glass, a cheap dish towel, an unbranded notepad, jar of jelly and a frosé kit. The jar of jelly had leaked over items in the box. It took over a week for customer service to even respond to me. Do yourself a big favor and save your hard earned money!
