Sakuraco always picks an evocative theme for each monthly box and 'A night of sakura' is wonderful - so romantic and beautiful. Every treat we've tried so far has had the subtle, wonderful flavours we've come to expect of Japanese treats. The chocolate coated strawberries were a burst of flavour. My favourite so far is the wafer biscuits with sakura filling, each printed with a beautiful image of sakuras.

I absolutely loved all the sakura-themed items, some of my favorites yet! The quality and flavors were, as always, amazing. I especially enjoyed the sakura mochi and the wagashi plate.

The home item was very cute this month (a ceramic small plate with a knot design). I am watching JapanHaul for the other plates in the set. Also, it's made in Japan! Should seem obvious, but this is the first piece with a made in Japan stamp.
You may be asking, what about the treats? There was the usual abundance. I particularly enjoyed the strawberry chocolate arare. Mostly because I didn't expect to. I don't like white chocolate, but these were pleasantly cruchy and not too sweat. I added them to a bag of popcorn for a valentines movie night snack.
