Cat Person FAQ

What is Cat Person and how does it work?
Cat Person is a high-quality subscription delivery service that ships delicious, high-protein cat food Meal Plans to your door monthly. Cat Person cat food is grain-free, soy-free, potato-free, and carrageenan-free, and has no by-products or unnecessary fillers. Recipes are low-carb and contain at least 50% more quality animal protein than AAFCO industry standards. You can also order cat food, treats, and supplies à la carte. Meal plans are based around your cat’s preferences. First you do a quick quiz about your cat — whether they like dry food, paté wet food, or shreds in chicken broth wet food. Then, you note which ingredients your cat doesn’t like (for example, beef, chicken, duck, turkey, bream, mackerel, salmon, or tuna). Those ingredients won’t be included in any of your Meal Plans. It also asks how much (if you know) wet food and dry food you feed your cat each day. Your meal plan and recipes are created based on your cat’s profile.
How do the shipments work?
First you get a $25 starter box which allows your cat to try out the new food, along with a handy transition guide to ease your cat/s into their new food. The Starter Box includes enough food to feed one average cat for 2 weeks. Your first Meal Plan box is shipped 3 weeks later. Ongoing Meal Plan boxes ship every 4 weeks. Cat Person ships to the 48 contiguous United States.
Is Cat Person easy to cancel?
You can edit your plan, change your ship date, or cancel anytime. They’ll always send you an email reminder 3 days before your next order ships so you can make any changes or cancel. Cat Person has a 30-day 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re unhappy with your Cat Person products within 30 days of purchase, email [email protected] and they’ll help you out.
How much does Cat Person cat food cost?
The cost varies depending on how many cats you have and how much you feed them. A monthly wet and dry Meal Plan for an average cat costs $73.80 ($2.46/day) and contains thirty 2.75 oz cups of wet food (in paté or shreds in chicken broth) and three 2-lb bags of kibble dry food. For cat owners who only buy kibble dry food, the daily cost is below $2. Meal Plans include 10% off and free shipping.
