Are These Chewable Vitamins Better Than Store-Bought? This Mama Has Some Thoughts.

As a mom of 4, looking out for the health and happiness of my kids is one of my top priorities. I’ve been reading up on some of the potential negatives associated with gummy vitamins, i.e. how a lot of gummies are actually more like candy, disguised as vitamins! 🍬

But your kids’ health is important, and they deserve more than just a mouthful of cavities—they should be getting the very best nutrients. While I normally take lots of inspiration from influencers, you never know what’s actually tried-and-true, and what’s just for show!

So, my family decided to give Hiya’s chewable Kids Daily Multivitamins a whirl. As a real mom with real kids who really tried Hiya, here’s our official, non-influencer review:

First impressions

Right off the bat, Hiya stands out from other brands because it’s just one vitamin a day with no added sugars and only natural sweeteners. They’re also one of the only natural vitamins you can find that aren’t gummies! I've been reading about how bad those are for developing teeth, and that they can contribute to cavities. I’d rather not give my kids chewable sugar! 🍭

Another thing I value as a mom with multiple kids is that there is discounted pricing for each additional child, and you can buy for up to 5 kids (perfect for my clan of 4). It really adds up quickly when you have multiple kids taking daily vitamins, and it was great to see that Hiya offers a way to make it more affordable for larger families! 👪

The taste test

As for the vitamins, not only do they taste great (yes, I tried them!) but they contain 15 essential vitamins and minerals, and a blend of 12 fruits and veggies, which means that my one picky eater can get the nutrients he needs to supplement his diet when it’s lacking. Hiya is sugar-free, but includes monk fruit and a natural sweetener you can find in strawberries, so they taste just as good as the gummy vitamins, but they’re not sticky and potentially cavity-causing like gummies are.😋

I feel better knowing that Hiya’s Kids Daily Multivitamins are supporting his growth & development while providing immunity, too. They can even help with focus, sleep, mood, and energy!

Vitamins, but with a personal touch

I was also pleased with how personalized Hiya’s Kids Daily Multivitamins felt. Yes, I know it's just stickers to add their names and decorate their bottle, but it totally got them excited to take their vitamins! Sometimes, it's just those simple things. What I love about it is that it helps to transfer some of that responsibility to them!

With their names on the front, it makes it easy for them to grab their bottle and join me in the process of making sure they take their daily vitamins. Plus, the reusable bottle is eco-friendly and the fresh refill packets that come in your monthly subscription take up so much less space than traditional bottles! ♻️

We’re officially all big fans of Hiya

Now that we've tried them, I can say that the hype around Hiya is legitimate! The reusable bottles are fun for the kids, they aren’t sticky and packed with sugar like gummies are, and the discounted pricing for a large family like mine are just a few of the ways this brand stands out for us. Hiya’s Kids Daily Multivitamins have become a must-have for our family and I'm sure they will for your family, too!
