I’ll admit it: when I first heard Fabletics was making jeans, I was skeptical.
Fabletics? The activewear brand? Making denim?
I love a good pair of leggings as much as the next person, but jeans are a completely different category. I’m picky about how they fit, how they make my body look, and most importantly, whether I’m counting down the minutes until I can take them off at the end of the day.
So when I kept hearing people rave about Fabletics denim, I assumed it was mostly hype. Then I finally decided to try a pair for myself.
Then I tried them myself.
And, well…I get it now.
The First Thing I Noticed? They Make Your Body Look Really Good
Before we even get into comfort, this is what sold me.
The tummy-smoothing compression gives me a noticeably smoother silhouette through my waist, while the sculpting fabric hugs in all the right places without squeezing me.
Then there’s the “Happy Butt” pocket design, which is specifically designed to create a lifted, more flattering look.
Did I roll my eyes at the name initially? Yes. Did I immediately understand it when I turned around and looked in the mirror? Also yes.
It’s the kind of fit where I can throw on a basic tee and instantly feel more put together.
VIP Pricing Makes
New VIP members can get jeans for only $29.
Considering how easy it is to spend $100+ on denim these days, I genuinely expected these to feel like $29 jeans.
They don’t.
The denim looks polished, the construction feels substantial, and the fit feels like something I’d happily spend much more on. At that price, trying another wash or silhouette suddenly feels very easy to justify.

The Denim Does Not Feel Stiff and Actually Moves With You
This is where my initial skepticism completely disappeared..
The jeans have enough stretch that I can sit, walk, bend down, run errands, and spend an entire day in them without feeling restricted. They still look like actual jeans (definitely not jeggings, those stayed in 2012) but they move with me instead of fighting against me.
And my ultimate test? When I get home, I don’t immediately want to rip them off.
As someone who normally changes into leggings approximately 30 seconds after walking through the door, that’s saying something.
Finally, Jeans With Multiple Length and Sizing Options
As a tall woman, finding jeans I like is hard enough. Finding jeans I like that actually reach the bottom of my legs is another story.
Fabletics offers short and long inseam options, which is a huge win for me. There are also plenty of silhouettes to choose from - skinny, straight, wide-leg, baggy - and different washes, so you’re not stuck trying to make one standard fit work for your body.
Okay, I Get the Hype
I genuinely thought an activewear brand making jeans sounded a little random.
Now I think being an activewear brand might be exactly why Fabletics denim works.
They took the things women love about activewear- sculpting, tummy smoothing, stretch, and freedom to move -and put them into jeans that still look polished and flattering.
Add in the booty pop I got, the $29 new VIP offer, and multiple inseam options, and I’ve officially gone from skeptic to convert.
I thought I’d try one pair just to see what everyone was talking about.
Now I’m deciding which pair I want next.
