A Real Mom’s Honest Review of the Hiya Kids Daily Multivitamin

What sets this multivitamin for kids apart?

My top priority as a mom? Making sure my daughter has enough nutrients to grow healthy and strong. And since my little one doesn’t always eat well, that meant finding a kids’ multivitamin I can really believe in and rely on.

That’s when I started searching online for recommendations. And very quickly what I noticed is all my favorite “momfluencers” raved about one multivitamin in particular: Hiya

So rather than grab a generic option from the grocery store, I got Hiya for my kids. And after using Hiya for a few weeks, here are my genuine, honest thoughts:

My daughter LOVES the taste, zero sugar and all

I knew I wanted to avoid any vitamin with added sugars or gummy additives, since gummies can contribute to cavities in kids. Frankly, no vitamin targeted to kids should include sugar, yet so many do. In fact, I was shocked to hear that a typical children’s multivitamin can have as much added sugar as an Oreo cookie!

So when I found out Hiya had zero sugar and zero gummy additives, I was intrigued right away. And the more I read the ingredients, the more I fell in love. Just check out how clean the label is here:

It was only after I gave Hiya to my daughter that I was truly astonished. She loved the taste–a big win.

Our dietary allergies are accommodated

My daughter has an intolerance to eggs, milk, and tree nuts. If Hiya contained those allergens, we wouldn’t even be here right now. On the contrary, Hiya is one of the only multivitamins for kids I’ve found that can accommodate her dietary needs.

Hiya's vitamins are vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, nut-free (besides coconut oil powder), dairy-free, and free from all that gummy junk that can be so bad for little teeth.

So, what do they contain?

They’re packed with 15+ essential vitamins + minerals

Hiya vitamins contain all the necessities, that’s what. A number can be hard to conceptualize, so let’s list them out: Vitamins A, C, D, and E, Thiamin (B1), Riboflavin, Folate (B9), Vitamin B12, Biotin (B7), Pantothenic Acid (B5), Calcium, Iodine, Zinc, Selenium, Manganese, and Vitamin K.

I took this list to our pediatrician to see why something I’d never heard of, like Selenium, is necessary for kids. It turns out it’s crucial for immune support, thyroid function, and growth. All are very important for my daughter’s development.

Our pediatrician approved of the ingredients in Hiya, giving it a big thumbs-up for its beneficial composition without unnecessary additives. Having a doctor's endorsement was a huge reassurance that we had made a great choice for our child.

Staying healthy never gets old

Hiya supports your child taking their multivitamin daily by sending a fresh pack each month. When the refill pack arrives, you can empty the chewables into the reusable glass container that comes with your first order. My daughter loved customizing hers with the stickers they sent, and she thinks of this bottle as her own–which means we’re teaching her to connect healthy habits with fun.

A 30-day supply for 1 kid costs $30, but Hiya offers 50% off your first month + free shipping when you order. Hiya also provides bulk discounts if you’re shopping for multiple kids, which my friends with multiple kids love.

It’s easy to snooze any order, but I can’t imagine ever needing to–we’ve added these vitamins to our daily routine and have seen the positive impacts already.
