6 Life-Changing Things I Never Would Have Bought For Myself, But Now Can’t Live Without

As a small business owner, I love to support fellow up-and-coming companies. But sometimes, these companies and their innovative products aren’t all that easy to discover, and I never realize what I’m missing until I finally stumble upon something amazing.

I’ve found some of the coolest brands thanks to Bespoke Post, a monthly membership highlighting useful, unique items from small businesses. I’ve gotta say–many of the products on the site have turned into must-haves for me over the years!

Here are just a few hidden gems that I wouldn’t have bought for myself, but now I can’t live without:

1. A backpack cooler chair for comfy seating anywhere, anytime

I rarely leave for a trip without a backpack already, but this Wren Backpack ($70) can be zipped out and converted into a foam-padded chair. That means I don’t have to worry about getting grass stains on my pants or sand all over my shorts when I’m on an impromptu adventure. In addition to being a backpack and chair, it triples as a cooler for drinks and snacks.

2. A grill pan for tasty proteins, even on rainy days

Getting enough protein is an essential part of my healthy lifestyle, but I’m not about the boiled chicken life. And the weather isn’t always cooperative for me to get outside and grill, so I keep this cast-iron No. 12 Grill Pan ($220) at home for achieving those perfect grill marks, every time. It can also be used for outdoor grilling, making it an essential piece of cookware.

3. A portable glass lantern speaker so I’m always life of the party

From camping trips to dinner parties, this Portable Glass Lantern Speaker ($350) is key for anyone who loves to entertain. It provides warm light for an intimate vibe, and the speaker offers impressive volume and can play all my favorite playlists via an aux cord or wireless with Bluetooth. It comes in both black and white–whatever matches your style.

4. A lightweight, cotton shirt for stylish outfits, even on the hottest days of the year

Being from Brazil and living in San Antonio, I’m used to some heat. But let’s be honest, I don’t want to show up everywhere dripping in sweat. I stay stocked up with these lightweight, 100% cotton Wellfleet Madras Shirts ($65 each) to look stylish while staying cool, even on the hottest days of the year.

5. A sleek, versatile folding knife to cut through packages, strings, and more

A pocket knife may not be anything new, but a cool, sleek one? Now that’s an upgrade I didn’t know I needed. I get compliments every time I need to bust out this Chiseled Buffalo Horn Damascus Folding Knife ($54) to open up a package. It’s extremely versatile and functional, but much more my style with the swirling steel blade and brass and buffalo horn handle.

6. A durable, Formula One-inspired watch to keep me from running late

“Chronically late” is no longer a personality descriptor for me since switching to this R1 USA Racing Chrono 38mm Watch ($399). It complements every outfit, so I always want to wear it. It’s also water resistant, and the hands light up, so I can even read the watch face when I’m out and about at night.

TL;DR: I can’t live without Bespoke Post

It’s safe to say that after I started buying from Bespoke Post, “Where did you get that?” is now my most-asked question. Thanks to Bespoke Post, I’m always prepared, dressed to the nines, and the best gift-giver in my friend group (if I do say so myself!).

The best part? Buying from The Shop couldn’t be easier, so everyone in your life can have the same “cool factor” that you do. (Psst: you can also subscribe to their membership for $49/month to keep more good stuff coming)!
