Once you find your forever faves, you never go back – at least that’s how I feel about my beauty routine. Why fix what isn’t broken, right? That is, until…I came to terms with how unsustainable my current routine was. (Ugh).

1. Citrus Sun Shampoo & Conditioner Set
I’m very meticulous about the products I choose for my hair. I would say 99% of the time, introducing a new hair product means my scalp will go crazy, and I’ll end up with both flakes and oily hair.
I’ve seen shampoo and conditioner bars everywhere, so I decided to try these. They don't contain any harsh sulfates or parabens that can strip your hair of its natural oils (read: my hair looks shiny, and doesn’t have that drying squeaky-clean feeling). As an added point, these are also plastic-free – one bar replaces 2-3 bottles & lasts 50-75 washes!
Unlike other shampoos or conditioners without SLS parabens and silicones, these create a luxurious lather. My hair has never felt healthier or shinier. Win-win!
2. Dry Shampoo Bars
You know the dilemma – I never have enough time to wash my hair, but I want it to look fresh for work. The Earthling Co. Dry Shampoo is one of the best dry shampoos I've ever used, without a doubt. It makes my hair look healthy and clean without leaving any residue or a powdery feel.

While I’m always wary of facial oils, their facial oil serum is a total godsend. It’s formulated with 100% organic ingredients to nourish your skin.
Don’t ask me how, but this facial serum absorbs right in and doesn’t feel greasy. And this has a couple of my favorite oils: sunflower, rosehip seed oil, and frankincense essential oil. All with amazing properties to help fade dark circles and repair my skin. Truth be told, I’m using this oil all over!

4. Wooden Soap Dish
Sometimes, all your bathroom needs is a good old-fashioned wooden soap dish. This one is made from birch wood and holds your bar in place with a groove that keeps it from sliding around while you lather up. I keep mine by the counter, but you can bring this into your shower if you have a caddy inside.
The wooden soap dish has helped me extend the life of my shampoo and conditioner bars, allowing them to dry much better. It’s big enough, so there’s also space for my soap bar! It also makes for an excellent way to reduce plastic waste: just throw out that disposable plastic container.
