We now have spoilers for the October 2022 Allure Beauty Box.

The Deal: New member can get their first box for $15 with code FALLSALE.

New Allure Members will receive: 8 new products, a $240+ value. Of those, five products will be full-size.

The two new free gifts for free members will be:

What Else You Should Know

Allure says each of their boxes has a total value of $100+.
If you sign up today, your first box will be the October 2022 box. If you sign up at the end of the month, you will receive two boxes back-to-back! For example, if you sign up on January 30, you will receive a January box, soon followed by a February box. Future boxes will be delivered at regular monthly intervals.
Per Allure: "if you sign up via Amazon you do not get a new member gift or access to the exclusive member store."

I always love my Allure Boxes but the Viori Shampoo & Conditioner Bars Sample is confusing. I can’t tell which bar is shampoo and which bar is conditioner. There is no way to tell. One is wrapped in brown paper and the other is not. Nothing on the box either. Then my DONGINBI Sample leaked all over.

I went to the Viori website. The shampoo bar is the round one with a design, and the conditioner bar is the plain square one wrapped in paper.

My booklet said that the Vasanti product was a sponsor, but I didn’t get one. It looks like I got variation #2. I guess not.

I got my box today.

Looking at the list above, that’s what I got, with the eyebrow product in Taupe, which would have been the most useful color for me.

Based on checking Amazon and reviewing the list on the Allure site, they released pretty much the sam box across the board.

Can’t say I was a fan of how the products were packed. Everything was loose and rattling around.

I was also disappointed that the Bosy Shop product was a sample pack. Something like that is only good for making sure you don’t react badly to the product.

I am happy that the Donginbi product was bigger. Allure had the Red Energy Essence a while back and that size was too small to really get an appreciation for the formula.

I am interested in resubing for this month. Allure site has Paypal option available. Is it easy to cancel using Paypal? Anyone has done it? Thanks.

Allure has made it really easy to cancel. They let you do it on your account page now. You don’t have to call or email them. It’s nice.

I tried to skip this box. I have a screenshot that says “Your October box is skipped, your next payment will be Nov. 1.” Apparently that’s not enough, I should have clicked yet another box to actually skip. I cancelled after they wouldn’t refund me.

i never got an email saying to pick out my brow pencil color. when i emailed them, they said it was too late and i am getting taupe, which wouldn’t work for me. it was just like sorry you never got the email, but you missed the deadline which we never told you about in the first place and you had to find out on another site, oh well… so i thought, now seems to be a good time to cancel.

I saw on Allures October post that the shampoo @ conditioner bars were a sponsored item as is the Body Shop serum and Vasant. Doesn’t that mean we’ll get those additional items?

Anything that’s a sponsored item goes to everyone, because the company that makes it paid Allure to put it in the box.

Sometimes the sponsored items are really nice. Others not so much.

Amazon still hasn’t posted their version of the October box, and I doubt they will if they haven’t yet. It’s typically up on the first day of the month. I remember another month about a year ago when Amazon didn’t post their version of the box for that month at all. Amazon subscribers should get the 3 full-size items (no choice of color on the brow pencil), and the other 3 items probably will be the cheapest of the variations. 😬

If you subscribed to this years ago and resubscribed this month, are you considered a new subscriber? My subscription expired in 2019 and I did not renew, but I only signed on for the new subscriber gifts.

I cancelled once and re-subscribed a month or so later using all the same info and still got the new member gift, which was nice. But that was before they switched the site (which improved it immensely with the use of Shopify!).

I have canceled and resubscribed a few times and have gotten the new subscriber gift every time. But I did use a different email so I dont know if that made a difference

Amazon still doesn’t have the new box up. I’m wondering if everyone who gets the box from Allure’s site gets the Viori hair bars? I’ve been wanting to try them for a while.

These look good to me, for $15. Folks, how easy or difficult is it to cancel after I receive this box? Any input is appreciated!

There was a site upgrade this summer and a lot of us were still being charged after cancelling. Make sure you cancel before the 1st because they seem to have changed their billing dates, it used to be the 3rd. Also you can do it online now or call, it can be hard to get emails answered on time but you can try that too.

It’s really easy, especially with the new changes to their website. You basically just log in and click you want to cancel. Just make sure you cancel before the end of the month so you don’t get billed for the next box.

I didn’t have any trouble when I received the notification via email that my subscription would renew. I immediately replied asking to cancel my subscription was cancelled the next day.

This was a couple of years ago when the price first went up.

If you go on the allure website they will ask you about the color pencil you want. They sent me an email and I’m a subscriber.
