Serina, the founder of Earthlove, has confirmed that the Earthlove subscription is indefinitely suspended (thank you to our readers @ebbgirls and Kalen, who shared these details!). On Monday afternoon (5/16), Serina wrote in an email to subscribers:
Dear Earthlovers,
Over the past four years, I have been deeply honoured to connect with each and every one of you. When I had first conceived of Earthlove in the spring of 2018, my aim was to create an educational, inspirational, and transformative experience that was sincere in its mission to live more sustainably in harmony with our beautiful planet in a way that was both accessible and affordable. Through the box, the values, and the goods within, I had wanted to help cultivate a deeper understanding of ecological issues, the importance of natural health and wellness, our connection with nature, and our ability to create a meaningful impact within our everchanging world. After much deliberation, it is with a heavy heart that I will be suspending the subscription box service indefinitely.
The email goes on to note that for current members, no further boxes will be sent and no further renewals will be collected. All subscriptions before June 1 will be canceled. Once that's done, subscribers will no longer have access to the Members Marketplace.

Monthly/Quarterly Subscriptions: Your subscription will be canceled shortly. You can purchase a one-time Summer Box (the Summer 2022 box) or past boxes if you choose.
Annual Members: You will be automatically refunded for remaining boxes by early June. You can also purchase the one-time Summer Box (the Summer 2022 box) or past boxes, subject to availability. If you'd like to do that, respond to the email sent out or contact Earthlove by May 25. If they have not heard from you by then, you will automatically be refunded for boxes remaining on your account. Once the refund goes through, the refund should post to your account within 10 business days.
The email specifically states: "Please do not file a claim or chargeback because of this email since this would delay your refund." If you do not get a refund by early June, contact Earthlove. If you want a refund, at this time, there is no need to take action.
The one-time Summer Box (Summer 2022 box) is a mixture of new items and past favorites. It costs $69.95. You can check it out here. Past boxes as of 5/18 include: Spring 2022, Summer 2021 "Sustainable Summer Fun Box," "Health and Wellness Box," and the "Rainy Day Box." They are priced at $89.95 and can be found here--but in fact, you can grab one for $69.95 because of an automatic discount. Serina (thank you so much!) commented below:
We have an automated discount running from now until June 30th where anyone can purchase a past box at our subscription box price ($20 off our gift box price). No need to enter a code. The amount is automatically deducted in the cart 🙂
The email also contains information about gift subscriptions and additional thoughts from Serina, who says that Earthlove is not shutting down entirely. "I'll be taking a sabbatical from this business to revitalize my energies and continue to heal from my chronic illness," she wrote. "While I am not sure how Earthlove will manifest in the future, I am still committed to this mission and it is not going away."
