Ashiana London: Brunch Scrunchies (Set of 2)

It’s official: the scrunchie is back and here to stay. But forget what you know about the ‘80s jazzercise scrunchie — this decade is different. Whether they’re made from oversized organza, deadstock denim, soft silk, cool cotton or otherwise, this versatile hair accessory is one that can be added to any look. I don't wear my hair back too often, but these will be so handy to have with me when I'm at the pool with my kiddos. I can also see my daughter claiming these for herself!

Daily Concepts: Daily Exfoliating Mitt

Modeled after traditional keşe, this hammam-inspired mitt seeks to bring a more mindful — and sustainable — bathing ritual into the home bath. The design honors the history of Turkish rituals while introducing eco-friendly materials to the classic keşe design, so that bathing culture can continue sustainably for many more generations.

We previously shared:

Earth Harbor: SUNSTONE Hair Revive Elixir

The perfect antidote for hair woes like dry scalp, scraggly ends, and worn strands — think winter recovery, overnight hydration, and salty swim hair — it’s made with powerhouse ingredients like seaweed, coconut, jasmine, and jojoba oils. I have had big success with this brand's skincare products so I'm excited to see how this oil works with my long curly hair.

And Every: Celestial Mix-and-Match Rings

These stackable celestial rings add a little stardust and sparkle to any look. Minimal, modern, and made from 100% recycled brass, the adjustable sizing makes this set inclusive to all finger sizes. Gold rings are my favorite way to accessorize, could these become my new go-to?!

To the Market: Wrap-It-Up Reusable Gift Wrapping Cloths

This set of 3 reusable wrapping cloths was inspired by the Japanese practice of Furoshiki. I have seen so many videos of innovative ways to use these wrapping cloths and I'm so excited to give them a try!

Bala: Sweat Sliders

Being a busy Mom, I am constantly trying to sneak a workout in anywhere that I can. These disks could be a lifesaver for me to help improve my workouts! Designed with a soft surface on one side for hardwood floors and a smooth surface on the other for carpeted spaces, these 7” disks provide an unstable foundation that requires you to press hard into the ground, engaging your core muscles to keep your body stable.

AltCooking Hub: Set of 6 Silicone Stretch Lids

I cook a lot so there are always leftovers or meals I make ahead to put in the freezer. These ultra-stretchy, clingy, durable, and convenient silicone lids are designed to help you reduce plastic AND food waste in the kitchen by replacing the ziplock bags, plastic wraps, and aluminum foils that we so often find ourselves reaching for. They'll conform to any shape (round, oval, square, rectangular — you name it!) to create a secure, leakproof seal that you can put in the microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher. Stretch them over a bowl, half-cut melon, or even that glass of wine you’re not quite ready to finish. I've tried similar products, but am really excited to give this brand a try!

We previously shared:

Barefoot Scientist: Sleep On It Aloe-Infused Socks

Does anyone else feet in need of some TLC after a long winter? These sole-soothing socks are lined with a moisturizing and antioxidant-rich blend of shea butter, argan oil, rose oil, jojoba oil, and vitamin E to hydrate your heels while you sleep so you can step out of bed onto softer, smoother feet. Pair them with lotion — or don’t — and store them in their resealable pouch in between uses! Repairing my feet while I sleep? Count me in!

Three Ships: Lip Treatment Kit

This is a duo that delivers and that my winter lips are hopefully going to love — with a two-pronged approach. Start with the Vanilla Lip Exfoliator. Using natural vanilla, fine sugar crystals, avocado oil, and shea butter, it helps to scrub away that dull skin and reveal your lip's natural vibrance. Meanwhile, the Buttercream Hydrating Lip Mask uses the natural oils of sunflower, coconut, and avocado to retain moisturize and keep your lips hydrated. I can't wait to give this duo a try!

On 3/1 we shared:

Sandbar Beauty: Nomad Eye Shadow Palette

This versatile eye shadow palette features the rich wine and brown hues of the desert in varying shades of matte, shimmer, and satin.

Scentuals Natural & Organic Skin Care Rose Facial Mist

Face mists are a must for my dry skin! Made with rose water and witch hazel, this mist helps balance the skin’s natural pH, heal and repair damaged skin, and soothe, leaving it soft and smooth. My skin typically loves rose water so I'm really excited to give this product a try!

Kitsch Consciously Created Wet/Dry Brush

This Wet/Dry Brush from Kitsch is made with soft, pliable bristles that consciously comb through fragile hair and gently untangle knots so you can say so long to split ends. Dry brushes are a staple in my house. Both of my kids have long hair with curls, my husband has long hair, and I have very long curly hair so dry brushes are a must! I can't wait to add this to our collection.

Yesterday we added:

Kayla + Ava: Bow Tie Bucket Bag

This staple bucket bag goes with just about everything and is perfect for Spring! It comes in dusty rose and is made from 100% water-based vegan leather. It comes with a cinched top closure and adjustable strap, it’s a practical pick for business, brunch, and everything in between.

Qalara Global: Natural Handwoven Tray

This decorative tray was handwoven from 100% banana bark and crafted using traditional braiding techniques by an all-women artisan team in India. It’s neutral tan color and minimalist design make it a natural addition to any room of the home. Craft your own coffee table centerpiece, store your citrus in the kitchen, deliver breakfast in bed, or fashion your own basket accent wall.

This is such a beautiful basket that I can't wait to style. I might use it in on my kitchen table with fresh fruit, or I could see it working really well in my master bathroom.

We previously shared:

Cuccio Somatology: Calm Kit

Calm is not a word people would use to describe me, so I am really excited to give this kit a try. Made with invigorating peppermint and grounding sage essential oils, the PAUSE Meditation Mist can be used as an evening pillow spray to help promote rest or a calming mist to re-center throughout the day. Cooling Spot Therapy helps awaken your senses and relieve tension with cooling peppermint and focus-finding green tea. Use it as a temple rub to help ease a headache, or apply it to the back or neck to recharge and restore focus. This is hopefully going to be a great tool for me to use at bedtime or throughout the day to keep my calm on.

ONAM: In Bloom Scarf

As we all know, the transition from winter to spring (wardrobe-wise) isn’t so simple — and that’s where ONAM’s In-Bloom Scarf comes in. The In-Bloom Scarf was artisan made in India from a sustainable bamboo rayon material. I love accessorizing with scarfs, they are a great way to add a pop of color. I also love using them as a layering option since the weather here in Pittsburgh could go from winter to summer within a few hours. This is going to look great paired with a basic tee, a solid jersey dress, or my favorite leather jacket.

Small Hours: Eco Silicone Seal Bags

I hate to admit how many plastic snack bags I use for my son's school lunches and snacks. This is going to be a great item to add to my kitchen essentials. These reusable silicone bags from Small Hours can do anything single-use sandwich and freezer bags can and then some — with a fraction of the waste. With two sizes in Warm White and Sage, use them to sous vide an egg on the stovetop, keep herbs fresh for longer, prep and freeze smoothie packs, microwave popcorn, or pack a picnic. Plus, they’re designed to stand upright for easy organization in the refrigerator or pantry. And when you’re done with them? Just toss them in the dishwasher to use again! These are going to be so great to use for my son's lunch, to pack snacks when we head to the pool or park.

Sembla Crinkle Cotton Bed Blanket

Bringing a pop of color and some dreamy, unique texture to your space, this bed blanket is equal parts pretty and practical. Whether in Ocean or Desert , this blanket adds an airy, elevated accent to your bedding, couch, or even draped around you. I am a big blanket person, even in the summer, I have to use one to get snuggled on the couch. I love the texture material and that the fabric looks lightweight but still cozy. This is going to be great to use on a cool spring night or on the deck when it gets chilly in the summer.

10" Double Handled Venus Pan by Brooklyn Steel

I love to cook and with a family of four I am constantly cooking! Made with a water-based ceramic coating, the Venus Pan is good for you and the environment. Oven safe up to 425°, its perfect size with two handles make this pan ready for anything you come up with. Plus, its multilayered stainless steel and aluminum core cooks fast with consistently even temperature distribution. Cleanup is a breeze (yes, even if you're scrambling eggs) so you can always admire the gorgeous speckled Galaxy Blue finish, custom designed by Alltrue Editors. This honestly checks all of the boxes for me! I love that it is easy to clean and that you can put it in the oven. I can't wait to add this to my collection!

asobu Large Hydration Jug

I am a big water drinker so having a water bottle with me is a necessity. Even my kids have to have their water bottles with them at all times. Holding up to 50 ounces, fill this bottle up at the beginning of the day and it'll get you from 9 to 5 and then some. It comes with a flip handle to make it easy to carry anywhere and a built-in straw to control water flow. This is going to be great to have with me at the park or the pool so I don't have to worry about refilling constantly. Plus, I can easily refill my kids water bottles without leaving myself with nothing.

Beau Nuage: Le Frenchy Dotted Umbrella in Hunter Green

Brave spring showers in style with the Le Frenchy Dotted Umbrella in Hunter Green, made from recycled plastic bottles. Umbrellas are something that I never seem to have on hand when I need it. I also realized the other day on a rainy walk to the bus stop that while my kids each have an umbrella of their own, we only have one large one. So my husband and I had to huddle under one. Plus I love the color!

Now that Alltrue is, apparently, back in business, I’m wondering if they ever compensated/ reimbursed / delivered to the customers who were waiting for boxes&shipments around the time that they filed for bankruptcy? Did every customer get an eventual resolution, or was anyone left permanently screwed over?

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

If the subscribers cancelled their account they weren’t given anything even if they had remaining boxes left in their subscription. The people who got boxes were the ones who left their accounts active as they were charged again for the upcoming boxes. Vendors weren’t paid and they filled boxes with their goods. Criminal imo.

This has been my favorite subscription box and I was so sad they had ceased business with no communication. However, I recently received an email explaining the situation and that they are back up and running! They also are working with customers who did not receive boxes and are offering a “please return to us” discount to come back. I just hope they can make it work. It was the parent company that went bankrupt and they now have a new investment company.

For the last 3 years that i have subscribed, 5 of my boxes were wripped in the bottom and a lot of my stuffs was missing. But I got to admit I did love most of the products.

When is my Spring Box coming…I am paid up thru 2022…please let me know if you have shut down when will I receive a credit back…I am very disappointed that no one has reached out to customers.

Susan Monteleon

When can I expect my spring box and add ones??

Reply ButtonReply

Alyssa

I don’t think you can expect anything from them. Alltrue has completely shut down as pf April 2022. I recommend you contact your bank. I placed orders in March and never received them. My bank reversed all charges with Alltrue, including my annual subscription renewal. Wishing you luck!

Aubrey Beck

NEVER RECIEVED MY BOX! Now their customer service page down and no one will respond to my emails!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Reply ButtonReply

Amy S Forbes

They went out of business about a month ago. I would suggest contacting your bank for a possible refund. No one is getting this box or any others.

Reply ButtonReply

Jody E

I did a search and find nothing in the news about this company going under. This is a big accusation.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Try definitely did. Customers received an email a couple months after it happened.

Reply ButtonReply

mia

They laid off all their employees and their site is not accepting new orders.

@MSA please update your site ASAP regarding Alltrue’s bankruptcy. Other subscription websites have already posted a notice on their main page.

What the heck? Will we still get our products?

Carolyn Bean Hanley

Due to the long delays between being charged and actually receiving my box, I cancelled my subscription. It is one of the pricier boxes and
and although there are occasionally fun items, I have gotten more toners, lotions, and other skin/haircare items then I will ever use.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

I just got my WINTER box March 15th! I’m so done with this company.

Reply ButtonReply

Starlet

I know a lot of us are in the same boat about choosing among the horrible, CHEAP choices for the Spring box. I want the pan and the tray but am not willing to pay $24 for something I can easily find better quality for less. What are the chances I’ll get either in a later box or add-on market (for less than $24)?

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

Ok, so when I first signed on to customize I couldn’t pick the color of the throw. Alltrue has since changed the choice to allow you to pick the color. Pays to check back I guess!

Reply ButtonReply

Amy Jackson

I cancelled my renewal because of the really long stretch of time between customization and shipping. (All the excitement fizzles out.) I was surprised to see that even though I paid for an annual membership I am not allowed to customize on 3/12 because I have already cancelled my renewal.
Based on this experience it’s clear I made the right decision to cancel.

Boo.

Reply ButtonReply

Stars

That is the worst!

Reply ButtonReply

BB

I’m not able to customize. It says I need to reactivate my subscription to get the spring box even though I have three boxes left in my annual. I’m so tired of dealing with this company! I’m going with Earth Love once this sub is over–an actual sustainable/cause-centered/eco-conscious box without the many problems with shipping, customization and quality.

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

OK customization is open and I’m super irritated that you can’t pick the color of the throw. That orange one is fine but it would go with nothing in my home. This has to be their worst box ever.

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

Looks like they have updated the selection page to allow you to choose the blanket color now. I was able to select the blue color now!

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

Me too. I wanted that blue throw, but not willing to risk getting orange. It is a beautiful color but wouldn’t go with my decor. I picked the pan instead.

Reply ButtonReply

Deb

Ya I’m thinking of switching to the pan, but for these being in the higher-end category of the box (Ithink) I feel like that should come with a lid also. Definitely time for me to be done with this box when my sub runs out.

Karen

100% worst box ever. Not renewing.

Reply ButtonReply

Lydea

Minor complaint I would send directly to MSA but not sure how. I really feel fooled when a review shows “March 8” and “57 comments” and then I scroll down to comments and see that most are from way before March 8. I know this is simply a minor inconvenience and why complain, but I mostly come here to see what people are talking about. Really, why am I even complaining? Please be kind, but I wonder if anyone else feels that way?

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

I’ve been irritated by this as well, Lydea. I guess that MSA is trying to reduce “clutter” on the main page by simply updating posts and adding the date of the update to the top of the page, but this happens all over the place, and it often makes our comments look kind of stupid. For instance, when they first released the Boxycharm base spoilers for March, there were only a few things listed, and I commented that I would be happy to receive anything except the eyeliner. Now the post has been updated to include like 30 possible things that could be in the box, and my comment is still there saying I would like to get anything except the eyeliner. My comment no longer makes sense in light of the new information. I see other people’s comments on posts that look silly now that more information has been added to an old post and a new date tacked on.

I get what you are saying – I think you are saying that it seems like something new and exciting happened with Alltrue that everyone is talking about, but then you check the post, and there are really only a couple new comments since the last time you checked, but it looks like there are 57 comments that all came in today. I know it isn’t intentionally misleading, but it is kind of confusing or unintentionally misleading.

Reply ButtonReply

Eliza

Has anyone else received the Alltrue surveys about brands and items we’d like to see in the boxes? They always include amazing companies and very cool items, and then they wind up offering us scrunchies, sandwich bags, and water bottles. Strange.

Anyway, I too will be pausing my subscription and passing on this box.

Reply ButtonReply

cj

I agree with other reviewers. Box has gone way down hill. I did not renew my annual after having it for 2 years.

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

I think it’s really gone down hill. I have had it since 2018 and back then you could really trace the products and how they matched up with the mission. Not any more.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie Jones

For anyone considering subscribing to Alltrue, I’d advise against it. My winter box hasn’t shipped. So you will likely never see this box if you purchase it.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

I’d advise against it too! But not because of their ridiculously late shipping schedule. I’d advise against it because AllTrue/Causebox is not a ‘do good’ company as they claim. They gained around 250k subscribers pretending to be a box that supports local artisans in impoverished countries, sustainable, charitable, and environmentally friendly. They are not! It’s been proven time and time again, the majority of their items are made in China. The throws, hair brush, scarf, pan, water bottle, umbrella, eye palette, bucket bag, silicone reusable bags, balance sliders, silicone lids, wrapping cloth, rings and socks are all manufactured in China for cheap. This company has won the PR/Marketing game by making the majority of its subscribers believe it’s actually a do good company and because of their good deeds, subscribers foolishly accepting delayed shipments and defend them time and time again.

Reply ButtonReply

DoxyMama

I FINALLY received my winter box. The tote, the slipper socks and the beanie were all made in China. That in itself should prove that this isn’t Causebox.

Reply ButtonReply

cheryl

Totally agree.. Its misleading..

The Weekender says the brand partners with feeding American to donate meals (5 million and counting)

The slipper socks were made with approx. 15 water bottles.. As someone that drinks bottled water all the time, I appreciate that my recycling is being resourced this way.

A portion of the profits from the beanie were donated to Direct Relief, an organization that equips doctors and nurses with life saving medical resources to care for the worlds most vulnerable people. The only thing I do not like about the beanie is it is DRY CLEAN ONLY!! I have never had to take a hat to the dry cleaners.

I do see what you are saying though.. These days, when you think about things made in china, you think of cheap items that may fall apart after a short time.. Though the quality of the items we got seem pretty good!

Reply ButtonReply

Jan

Hey! Just a comment for the beanie. Try dryel!! It’s an at home “dry clean” kit and it’s worked pretty well for me 🙂

The Three Ships Lip Treatment duo is in the Kinder Beauty box for March also.
