Sample Oklahoma, the subscription service that introduces people to Oklahoma businesses and nonprofits through their boxes of locally-made products each month, has revealed two new, lower-priced subscription options.

The new BBBB ("Bath, Beauty & Brains Box") subscription will contain all-natural bath, body and beauty products from across the state. The new Sooner Snack Box will give subscribers 4-6 gourmet Oklahoma-made snacks every month. The snack box can be sent to a loved one who if far away and wants a taste of home, or the box can also be a treat for the family at home.

“Sample Oklahoma’s immediate success can be calculated to impeccable timing, innovative creations, and local support,” says Libby Ross, marketing director at Sample Oklahoma. “The giving nature of our subscription box business model is easy to embrace.” The new boxes are coming  just in time for the holiday season.

The regular Sample Oklahoma subscription contains over $50 worth of products and costs $29.99 per month. Proceeds go to a different nonprofit organization every month. You can also purchase a buy one/gift one subscription at a rate of $89.97 for 3 months, $359.88 for 6 months and $719.76 for a year. There's no word yet on what the two new boxes will cost (at the time of this writing the pages are not accessible on the Sample OK site).

I love this!! As a resident of a small town, less than a 1000 people, in Northwestern Oklahoma, shopping local means everything to us. I’m going to have to subscribe and start making all the ladies here in town wondering where I’m getting all my cool, new Okie swag!

Boomer! 😁
