Target’s Deal Days (vs Amazon’s Prime Days) is offering 25% off beauty products, including these beauty “capsules.”

I’m located in NYC so the price online is 18.29.

Sooooo….I changed the store I was shopping in (at the top, not the pickup location) to ones in other states until I got the price drop To 14.99. Ordered both new ones for 15 each.

Fun fact: still had to add a $6 bag of candy to get 35 free shipping

Someone must have complained- it’s now showing up as $14.99 on the website!

Snow, target often has different prices online than in store, but if you show an employee at check out they will match their online price

Snow

True. I think I was more irked about the different prices being charged than I was about the actual money. I love my local Target store but the online customer service is not so great.

I’m in Pittsburgh Pa and this box and the other new box are showing up only $14.99 for me. I’m not sure why others are being charged more? Maybe it has to do with taxes? Do those who are getting charged more live in tax free states by chance?

Jeanine

I’m from Pittsburgh too!! It’s more with shipping…but get a red card and it’s 11.22!! It was 22 something then with circle card 18 something then with red debit card 11.22!!!

Missymalay

I never pay shipping and it’s easy to get free shipping. Has nothing to do with shipping.

Missymalay

These people are being charged more for the box alone, not with shipping. Just the box is costing them $18 and change.

Jackie

This was supposed to be free with a $40 nail purchase yesterday for National Nail Day. It worked with almost nothing, so I guess that’s why they’re trying to offload them all now. SMH.

Why can’t I subscribe to comments anymore? The check box is gone.

They want us to visit the site to read the comments. I guess they don’t know comment messages bring visitors back.

It finally works again, I guess it was a glitch.

JuJu

If so, I gotta say, it’s the most ridiculous business decision ever.

It’s enough to make me not want to come back to the site altogether.

If you have a RedCard it’s always free shipping — you don’t even have to get the credit card if you don’t want it, you can get the debit one. I have one linked just to an account I put all my fun money in (so no risk of it eating up my main checking if there is a data breach — I know people might be hesitant with Target b/c of that). Just mentioning it cause like some others have posted, the shipping fees get obnoxious.

Murakami, I have a RedCard and, depending on products, most of the time it “ships free with $35 orders”. You have to watch the descriptions for shipping. I paid for shipping several times with my RedCard without paying attention.

Milena

That’s a great idea! I definitely wouldn’t want to link my main account but I somehow never thought to open up a separate one lol.

I kind of want this. Love nail kits. But I refuse to pay for shipping. I was going to add the 2 previous boxes they had in March which are still available to get my total high enough for free shipping. I just really only like 1 of the kits and not the 2nd. I am going to wait and see if Target has any more kits in the future that look interesting and I might get a couple of them together so not to pay shipping.

Sherri

If you have (and use) a Target Red Card, shipping is free for just the one kit.

Nat

Nope. I am trying to cut down on using cards.

JuJu

It shows up as $18.29 on my end. I think it depends on one’s location, although I don’t understand why they would price things this way. 🤔

Jeanine, she’s saying the box alone is $18.29, it has nothing to do with shipping.

JuJu that’s so strange because here in Pittsburgh it’s only $14.99.
Do you happen to live in a zero tax state? I was thinking maybe they charge more in those places. Though that seems not right to do.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Ha, New York City is anything but zero tax. 😄

So of course in addition to our already exorbitant cost of living we need to be charged more for these boxes!

Snow

It is. I once paid more for an item online and then went inside the store and it was a completely different price (like by a lot.) They change prices depending on location, time, and whether it’s online or in the store.

Jeanine

It’s 11.22 with red card…I just have the debit one !! It’s great…

ChrissyD

I wouldn’t pay that much. Thanks for the target post.

Sounds wonderful, but I can’t afford this with shipping. Total is $21 with shipping!
