We have spoilers for the July 2021 Ipsy Glam Bag Plus.

July’s theme, Stay Golden, is more than just a name ... it’s a state of mind. Inspired by long summer days, sparkling blue waters, loads of bronzer, and warm breeze, the metallic gold July Glam Bag and Glam Bag Plus are a reminder to shine everywhere we go—and with a design this good, you’ll want to take it everywhere you go.

Glam Bag Plus Spoilers

Ipsters signed up for a Glam Bag Plus in July could receive:

FENTY BEAUTY STUNNA LIP PAINT in 'Unattached'

The long-lasting matte pigment is so weightless, you might even forget you’re wearing it. Lip-defining precision wand makes it easier than ever to define and fill your pout in one stroke.

TARTE SEA Jelly Glaze Anytime Lip Mask Toasted Coconut

This lip mask legit does it all. Nourishes? Check. Hydrates? Check. Tints? Check. It’ll give your lips a huge hit of hydration. Hyaluronic acid and vegan squalane draw moisture to your lips and lock that moisture in for up to 12 hours of pillowy plumpness.

HIPDOT Sun Goddess Face Palette

You're a Sun Goddess (even if you haven’t spent time in the sun lately).

IL MAKIAGE BLACK CARD - Lift, Curl & Lengthen Mascara in Black

This advanced formula will leave you with long, full, individually emphasized lashes from the very first application.

JUICE BEAUTY SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer

Hydrate and protect your skin’s natural moisture balance with this lightweight, zinc broad spectrum SPF 30 Oil-Free Moisturizer** made with antioxidant rich organic grape and pomegranate, soothing aloe vera, vitamins, and nutrient rich sea algae. Helps prevent premature signs of aging caused by everyday sun exposure. Clears while hydrates.

MENTED COSMETICS Lip Gloss in Mauve Over

This lipgloss is shiny and smooth without overdoing it, and provides just the right amount of color to add some pep to your step - and your lips!

SYMBIOSIS SKINCARE Hyaluronic Acid + R.N.A. De-puffing & Dark Circles Relief Eye Serum

This weightless, high potency eye serum aims to soothe and renew fatigued eyes that have been marked by puffiness and dark circles, resulting in a calmer, rejuvenated eye area.

DERMADELI Citrus Gold Oil

Citrus Gold Oil gives skin a beautiful glow on the surface while protecting, replenishing, and moisturizing skin below the surface.

WANDER BEAUTY Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks

OK firstly, they’re this cool, gold color (aka they gave us sooo many selfie opps). Gold foil also helps retain heat, so the serum doesn’t evaporate before fully soaking into your skin. It’ll brighten your eye area, reduce the appearance of dark circles, and deliver hydration with a dose of moisture-preserving hyaluronic acid.

If you're new to Ipsy Glam Bag Plus, it is a $25 a month beauty and makeup subscription box. Check out our Ipsy Glam Bag Plus Spoilers to see what’s coming up in future boxes and check out our Ipsy Glam Bag Plus reviews to see what you can expect each month.

will probably skip this month – nothing here excites me

All of them a big no 😢 that symbiosis eye cream irritated me so bad from Boxycharm. So I’ve noticed now more items from boxy here on Ipsy, and with boxy they probably have them for so many years because when I get add ons they are all about to expired or expired items so I cancelled with them for that reason so many complains on their smelly products. If they are going to bring stuff from boxy to Ipsy it’s just sad now.

I believe Boxycharm was bought out by Ipsy sometime last year

I got the Wander eye patches in an Allure box. They’re okay, nothing special.

I initially thought the Fenty lip paint looked amazing and checked it out on Sephora… has anyone noticed how many people are reporting the lip paint smells like dead fish? Yuck!! Not sure if it was a storage issue on Sephora’s end or a issue with the product.

Adriana

Definitely not ideal. I really hope I don’t get that Fenty lipstick. I can’t wear coral lipstick. It makes me look dead.

Becky

That is only 9 items. No way that those are the only items being featured in July bag. I would not say full spoilers, just some spoilers.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Yeah, it should have been round 2 spoilers since they already released a set of spoilers earlier this month, none of which are shown in this “full spoiler” post. Get it together MSA!

I was wondering the same thing! There’s no way this is it. Thanks for posting, it saves me having to ask.

Marion

Wow, these look really good to me (with the exception of the Symbiosis stuff). I’ve been wanting to try Mented, & missed out when the lip balm was in the regular glam bag. Love Hipdot’s eye shadow palettes, but haven’t tried any of their face stuff yet (again… missed the blush when it was in the regular glam bag!). I’m curious about the formula of the Fenty lip paint because I’ve heard good things… never pulled the trigger on it because the shades aren’t my typical preference.

Marion, just a heads up, I heard good things from many sources that Stunna lip paint was seriously long-wear but was very disappointed with it. It transferred all over the place, which included other parts of my face. Obviously YMMV as so many sing its praises.

Thanks, Echo!

Just a note about the Juice Beauty product: it’s a thick sunscreen. Not a moisturizer at all. If you want a sunscreen that’s great, but it won’t moisturize your skin.

Carrie

That was the only item that had me stoked. Good to know.

Marion

Thanks for the info, Dea!

The Fenty liquid lip is amazing – I actually think I have the shade they’re highlighting but the formula is phenomenal! Comfortable, lasts ALL DAY, just ideal.

Jennifer

Gonna be my first skip

Carol

That Fenty shade looks amazing! If it is a choice item, I might sign up.

I saw that bottle of red and thought “fun nail polish!” then saw it is a lippie, oh dear. None of these items appeal to me.

Alice

Same. This will be my first two months in a row skip.

Watch for that Symbiosis brand. It’s one of those shell companies that only makes cheap stuff that is over marked for subs. Crappy website, fake “store” addresses. Kinda like those Dirty Little Secret and Saint Luxe Brands. The same company makes brands under the Avant name as well.

Nicole

Thank you! I am beginning to wonder if I can trust anything in these bags unless they are sold at retail stores like Sephora or Ulta. But then we’ve got brands like 111Skin that cheapens the products they put in sub boxes and Colored Raine who allows Ipsy to make their cosmetics for the Glam Bag in China. I tend to wonder how much of the product we receive is 100% legit. At this point, I’m sadly guessing only around 50%.

Mandi

Rachel, Ipsy actually purchased a license to private label 111 skin products. The ones they give us are not the same as the ones the brand itself sells. They are sub-par, not the same ingredients, while ipsy still claims the original “retail” price. It’s quite shady what’s going on. Also, that Symbiosis eye cream smells horrible. Boxycharm has already sent it me. I didn’t know for sure that “Avant” was part of all this but I had a feeling it was considering how much of it Boxy and Ipsy sends out despite claiming an outrageous retail price on it. Ugh that makes me mad.

Marion

Rachael, the 111Skin products we receive in sub boxes usually have different ingredients & are made in a different location than what you might receive from their website or other retailers at full price.

Rachael

What do you mean 111skin cheapens the products the products they put in the sub boxes? What does that mean?

Stephanie

Thanks for the info!

Hi Jenn- I do know about the others. Im one of the regulars who keeps informing peeps of the DLS saga and thankfully they let me keep the comment about their new brands in Ipsy: Saint Luxe, Basic Beauty and Glow on 5th. All these shady companies. Better off buying real stuff in the dept store.

Jenn

Your very welcome. There’s quite a few threads you can find and read online about these companies. Where people who know the industry, marketing and finance, have dug deep into these companies. Like the Symbiosis brand website claims (or did claim awhile back until they got caught) to have store locations in Florida. But when those addresses were cross checked, they were all Home Depots in Florida. Those with more insight to the industry have been able to track shipments from China to the US for similar products then track the repackaging and rebranding. A bunch of these companies can all be linked down to a few people. It’s just all too shady for me. I personally won’t dig up all the information myself but some of the threads have links to everything and explain it all very clearly so I 100% believe it. What I don’t understand is that the sub boxes have to know we are aware by this point but they keep sending us this stuff because it’s cheap fillers for them. To someone that doesn’t know this, they might think they are getting some high end luxury product because of the given the retail price. I don’t think that’s acceptable so I’m going to let people know whenever I see one of these products.

Renee

I haven’t skipped in several months. This may be a good break month.

These are only A FEW of MANY MANY other I items. I used to get disappointed seeing most spoilers but I realized that I almost never end up with any of the spoilers, unless I actually choose them. 🙂

Amy

Those had better not actually be the full spoilers, pretty abysmal if so

Reply ButtonReply

Mandi

They aren’t! Not even close. They are just the only ones ipsy has released so far. They will release more towards the end of the month with addon spoilers then of course there will be a lot of items not spoiled.

I want that Mented mauve lip gloss I love mauves and it looks pretty opaque! At least there’s no repeats like in Boxycharm!

Bia

So glad I canceled

It’s a definite skip for me.
