Ipsy base spoilers are live for the July 2021 Ipsy Glam Bag.

Based on a summery theme, here's what Ipsy previously said about their latest collection:

July’s theme, Stay Golden, is more than just a name ... it’s a state of mind. Inspired by long summer days, sparkling blue waters, loads of bronzer, and warm breeze, the metallic gold July Glam Bag and Glam Bag Plus are a reminder to shine everywhere we go—and with a design this good, you’ll want to take it everywhere you go.

Glam Bag Spoilers

Ipsters signed up for a Glam Bag in July can choose between the following products for their first item:

I must have missed July Choice- hope that I like what IPSY picks!

I’ve been on pause also because the products I had been receiving were SUCH low quality & anything decent were coming in such very tiny samples it was a joke! I’m hoping they’ve been listening to the comments from patients and revive the boxes.

Brianne

Been with ipsy for years and I wanna skip been thinking about cancelling but considering I havent even received my june bag yet i probably will skip they have been slipping lately only thing that stood out to me was the scalp scrub heard great things or the tarte primer just bc i use tartes sea serum foundation and its something I wouldn’t have to buy but I’m sure it’s super tiny how many uses would u even get out of scalp scrub?

Reply ButtonReply

Tiffany A

I was able to get 4-5. You concentrate on the scalp and it lathers like heck!

Reply ButtonReply

Paula James

I thinik you would get about 6 uses

I love the Christophe Robin Sea Salt Scrub!!! A couple years ago I had a bad health scare and a couple months later my hair started falling out by the handfulls. I had some sample jars of this in my stash so I tried them I think this is why I still have my hair. It cleans your scalp for healthy new hair growth and your hair feels so clean. I use it religiously !
My pick was another salt scrub I just cant have too much. I was tempted by the beautiful Realher lip stick and the Purlisse Watermelon Face Wash, both great products. Good choices!!!

Lori

Skipping, but would have chosen the CR scalp scrub. Everything else is *yawn*.

Got the complex culture brushes in flash because those brushes are fire.

Reply ButtonReply

Lids

I have a question, when can I pick the product that will go for my bag?
I’m a glam bag plus member and just downgraded to Glam Bag but don’t know when I pick my product. Thanks in advance.

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

The choice window is open now, but I’m not sure when it ends (it started yesterday), so you’d be best off picking today. Also, there is always a timeline on your GB page that shows the various dates. HTH.

Reply ButtonReply

Lids

Thank you! It’s not giving me the option to pick my item. When I press “choice” it sends me to the Flash Sale. I sent an email to Ipsy Care

Alice

I cancelled regular a while back. Paused Plus for last few months and July. I don’t believe I need any more products for years.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

I picked the Purlisse cleanser, as I’ve tried it before and really enjoyed it. But I’m thinking I’ll probably end up skipping July. I’ve got enough other sub boxes coming next month.

Flash Sale was underwhelming. Almost pulled the trigger on the IGK dry shampoo and scrunchie bundle, but $20 is kind of steep. In general I don’t feel like Ipsy sales are as good bargains as they used to be.

Reply ButtonReply

Emma

I agree flash was underwhelming. I was tempted by the two complex culture brushes for $5, because I am actually really liking that brand of brush. But not much else interesting to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

Pretty sure I got the dry shampoo in a BoxyCharm sale for $6, pre-Ipsy buyout.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

Yeah, that duo is something I think would have been offered for like $10 a year or two ago. $20 is milking it.

Amarante

I got the Watermelon and Charcoal Cleanser. I am currently using a full size of it thst I got in another box and I love it so much I make a note of it because I would actually buy if if I ever ran out of cleansers which is unlikely given my subscription.

If you haven’t selected, I highly recommend.

Reply ButtonReply

Emma

Opted for the purlisse. I like trying their products. And I much prefer fruit smells over florals!

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

Nothing super stands out to me, so I skipped Choice. (Not that skipping Choice in the past has given me such great bags, but last month was particularly blah for me.)

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

I went with the mascara option. I can never have enough mascara.

Reply ButtonReply

Gale

Just a small little detail @MSA, the header above the tarte quench product, is the same label for the KVD product 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Colleen

Its also not the full spoilers, either. Wish Liz would come back.

Reply ButtonReply

Sherri

I think that depends on how you interpret the phrase “full spoilers.” One way is spoilers of all the items Ispy will offer members in the bag. I believe that’s how you’ve interpreted it. The other way is all the spoilers Ipsy plans to release for this bag.

Stephanie

FYI, I found Sophia + Mabelle on Alibaba. It’s less than a dollar and made from the same company DLS uses.

Reply ButtonReply

sandyrediska

Omg, Stephanie, thanks! I think Saint Luxe is the same animal. I have been also wondering if BellaPierre and Grace & Stella are of the same origin (BellaPierre appears so so so cheaply made, and on the back it says made in China, distributed by BellaPierre). Do you know anything about that? It’s so hard to track them down.

Reply ButtonReply

Pam

Trisha- grace & Stella is not a fff house brand

Trisha1114

(Grace and stella) is a house brand of fabfitfun. The things I’ve tried from them have been very good. Fabfitfun has a few different brands they have created .

Stephanie

Hi Sandy, Saint Luxe, Glow on 5th and Basic Beauty are new DLS brands that are in Ipsy now. Grace & Stella is not DLS but they have admitted to private labeling from Alibaba. Not sure about BP, definitely not DLS but it’s probably another cheaply made product. I wish we could post pics in the comments section as I’d show the prof of Sophia + Mabelle being 35 cents on Alibaba.

Jennifer

I don’t think Bella Pierre is. But before they got into lots of sub boxes they used to be a lot on Groupon, so I suspect it’s a legit company, just one that plans for most of its sales to be at bulk discount.

Jill

I actually used to (maybe 5 or 7 years ago?) use a few Bellapierre products regularly, like tinted moisturizer and lipstick. It seemed like decent quality to me at the time. So I doubt it’s tied to that DLS brand, as I thought that was a more recent creation?

Charlotte

I’m not sure about BellaPierre, but Grace & Stella is definitely an Alibaba relabel company (they’ve publicly admitted to this), though they’re not related to DLS.

Kathy

I picked the realher lipstick. I have been wearing too many dark colors and this looks perfect for spring, summer and into fall for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Hallie

Same! I like everything i have received by this brand. Some people don’t love them for some reason. I need a nice buttery lipstick

Reply ButtonReply

Miz T

Have heard great things about the Christophe Robin salt scalp scrub so am excited to try that, but nothing else is calling my name this time.

Everything in the duos I already have or don’t want. Hoping for some Summer colors to show up.

Not feeling it at all. Will go on pause. I haven’t decided if I want the GBP or not. I think I simply have too much stuff and nothing is really exciting. 🤷‍♀️

Alison

was considering skipping, but thought I’d try the Briogeo.

Susan

I like the bag. Yet I ve decided to stay on pause mode, I want to try boxy charm in July

Veriphy cleanser for me!

I’m going to stay paused 😬

I picked the Christophe Robin scrub. I’ve had it before and usually try to pick something new. But Ive been wanting more and couldn’t resist. This stuff is AMAZING!

sara

Also same! My husband likes it too! Gives volume to his thinning hair.

Reply ButtonReply

Emily

Same. I love that stuff. I got a full jar of it in the glam X, but the small size is perfect for travel

Jeanine

SAme…so mad I didn’t get the other product by them, that Ipsy offers, as a choice for my June bag!!!!

Sherri

Same, same, same, and agree. 🙂
