There’s a Subscription for That: Asian Dish Starters

There’s a Subscription For That is a new series spotlighting subscriptions the team at My Subscription Addiction finds interesting and is excited to share with readers.

Craving Asian flavors but not in the mood for take-out? Omsom helps you can cook restaurant-quality dishes yourself at home in under 30 minutes. The meal starters are designed to showcase the flavors found in authentic Asian cooking, and they come in a selection of flavors inspired by traditional East Asian and Southeast Asian dishes. Just tear open an Omsom seasoning pouch and add it to your own fresh meats and veggies for a dish that will transport you across the globe.

Travel to Thailand with Larb seasoning, inject some va-va-voom with Vietnamese Lemongrass BBQ, and kick things up a notch with the flavors of Korean Spicy Bulgogi. There are currently six different flavor varieties available, and many were created in collaboration with talented Asian chefs and restauranteurs from around the country. All packets contain the spices, sauces, oils, and seasonings you need to build bold Asian flavors at home in your own kitchen, and there are even recipes available should you need some additional guidance.

Omsom, which means noisy and rambunctious in Vietnamese, was founded by Vanessa and Kim Pham, sisters who grew up watching their mother cook dinner from scratch every night. They created Omsom to share their love of loud Asian flavors and provide an easy meal solution that celebrates Asian cuisine.

You can give Omsom a try by making a one-time purchase (might we suggest a sampler pack?), but if you want to keep your kitchen stocked with these pantry essentials, there’s a subscription for that. All of Omsom’s meal starters are available via subscription, and you’ll save 10% off the retail price when you sign up for recurring deliveries.

  1. I had just ordered a sub prior to this post and am excited to try. I’d love for MSA to review as well

  2. I know I’m reaching here, but if a Keto version of this existed I’d sub in a heartbeat and for an indefinite period of time. Like, for life.

Please, please do a Keto version of this. I’m holding my credit card at the ready!

    • Some of these are pretty low in carbs. I’m doing keto too and would use some of these. Thinking about it 😊

    • Check out Kevin’s Natural Foods Keto Sauce Packs.

  3. I have ordered from Omsom several times and have been great to have on hand to make a quick meal. The flavors are delicious.

  4. I’ve tried these the Southeast Asian sample pack and the lemongrass flavor is awesome!

I wouldn’t use these enough to subscribe, but best wishes to the company.

  5. These look great, would love to try some of the lower carb ones.

  6. These types of posts would be much more enticing if it was an actual review instead of an fyi.

    • I agree!

    • Definitely. I come to MSA for reviews. This is just basically useless. FYI there’s a review of Omsom on CNN. Not MSA – CNN.
