Here’s what’s filling our dream shopping carts:

Maggie, Director of Content Strategy

Bumble and Bumble Pret-a-Powder Post-Workout Dry Shampoo Mist ($30)I’m trying to cut back on washing my hair. A couple of spritzes of this dry shampoo mist could take me from my Peloton to my next Zoom meeting.

La Mer The Nourishing Soft Cream Hydration Duet ($345):  We said money was no object, right? Developed by a physicist, I’ve long wanted to try this celebrity-beloved brand.

Voluspa Gilt Pomander Hearth Candle ($198): 123 oz of this warm and spicy scent would make my apartment smell heavenly for years to come.

Megan, Senior Writer

OUAI Curl Cream with North Bondi Fragrance ($38): OUAI is my favorite haircare line and though I wouldn’t consider my hair curly, it is thick and wavy. I bet this curl cream would enhance those waves as well as make me smell like North Bondi, a really great white floral perfume from this brand that I already own and love.

Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt Eau de Parfum ($85): You know I couldn’t build a Dream Cart without a perfume! This one feels really close to Commodity’s Book and Le Labo’s Santal 33, two sandalwood heavy scents that feel very uni-sexy to me. Bois de Balincourt is a touch more floral but I love how this wears on my skin in the oil fragrance formula and in their deodorant as well, so time to invest in a big bottle.

PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership VIII Eyeshadow Palette – Divine Rose II Collection ($125): This is a palette I saw swatched on Instagram and I literally think about it all the time. The mauves, the nudes, the roses, and the duochrome! I am obsessed. It is super expensive for a palette, but this totally belongs in my Dream Cart.

Jessica, Contributing Writer

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino Eau De Parfum ($250): While I really love the name of this perfume by Tom Ford, Neroli Portofino is the one I think I would enjoy the most, scent-wise. It has key notes of orange flower and lavender (both scents I love) along with Italian bergamot, and it pays homage to the Italian Riviera. I am a sucker for gorgeous packaging, and the blue glass of this bottle is truly eye-catching.

Fresh Crème Ancienne Ultimate Nourishing Honey Mask ($160): I already love most of the face masks Fresh makes, and I have been wanting to try this luxurious honey-packed one for over a year. It is made with 38% Buckfast Bee Honey and also has meadowfoam seed oil and echinacea extract. I can already tell my skin would love it, but this stuff is so out of reach for me I have never even been able to find a sample of it to try.

Mount Lai Jade Massaging Comb ($52): This is such an unnecessary product, but man could it add some luxury to my self-care routine. Plus, I love scalp massages and hold a lot of tension in my face, and this massaging comb could help me relax while stimulating growth.

Naomi, Contributing Writer

BREAD BEAUTY SUPPLY Wash-Day Essentials Kit for Curly & Textured Hair ($58): I’ve been seeing this brand everywhere, and I am dying to try their products. I have a ton of curls and it feels like they are always dry. If money was no object, I’d be on the hunt for a game-changer — and Bread Beauty could be it!

Moon Juice Acid Potion AHA + BHA Resurfacing Exfoliator ($48): I’m a skincare-obsessed queen! The Moon Juice Acid Potion AHA + BHA Resurfacing Exfoliator is one of those extra steps in the skincare routine of the bougie that I envy. It’s all about smooth skin and unclogged pores, and this product is a beast at exfoliating and resurfacing.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Pro Facial Steamer ($149): Facial steamers always looks so fancy and spa-like. They hydrate, purify, and moisturize skin … I want it! But I’m also too cheap to buy it. One of these days I’m going to break down and and come out of a crazy online shopping haze owning one.

Caroline, Chief of Staff

Goop GOOPGLOW Microderm Instant Glow Exfoliator ($125): I’ve tried the mini size and I absolutely fell in love. After just one use, I noticed an improvement in my complexion and texture of my skin. My skin feels so silky and smooth, I’m obsessed.

Dr. Barbara Sturm Darker Skin Tones Hyaluronic Serum ($300): Hyaluronic acid is a must-have ingredient in my daily skincare routine. Influencers can’t seem to stop talking about it, so would like to try it.

La MerCrème de la Mer Moisturizer ($510): A classic. I read somewhere that a famous actress uses this as body cream to keep her body firm and moisturized.

Taryn, Contributing Writer

Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant ($60): My skin is very dry so I need something that can remove buildup without stripping my skin. I’ve had my eye on this masque for a while since it exfoliates, smoothes, and hydrates your skin all in one! Isn’t that just the dream for us dry skin people?!

Herbivore Phoenix Rosehip Anti-Aging Face Oil for Dry Skin ($88): My skin loves rosehip oil, but when I can get that plus anti-aging and hydrating benefits all in one then I am sold! This has amazing reviews for leaving your skin hydrated and glowing while truly combating even eczema-prone skin.

NuFace Trinity Facial Toning Device ($325): One of my favorite bloggers has been talking about this product for a while now and it has really caught my attention. I’ve read that you need to be very dedicated to using it often for best results, and at that price, I would be too! The device provides micro-current facial toning to firm and combat signs of aging.

Samantha, Editor

Dyson Airwrap Styler ($549):  In a world without a price tag, I need this in my thick-yet-limp-haired life. I love a  barrel that is clamp-free (aka idiot-proof), and with six versatile attachments to complete the set, I’m pretty sure this styler is my next untapped obsession.

NuBODY Skin Toning Device ($399): I know the jury is still out on ultrasonic cavitation, but I want to believe that one can break free of their thigh genetics! Heading into summer without a budget, I’d cross my fingers, keep at it on my Peloton, and give this one a whirl for a hopeful boost.

Herbivore Coconut Milk Bath Soak ($18): Karl Lagerfeld once said that he soaked in a concentrated milk bath every day. While the late Chanel icon is not exactly the vision I hold in mind for all my beauty goals, still … I find myself intrigued. $18 adds up when you’re using the whole kit and caboodle on the daily!

Comments (211)

  1. Glow skincare, Pat McGrath Divine Rose II palette, and the OUAI curl creme that Megan is lusting after!

  2. If money were no object, I’d get the Dr. Dennis Gross Spectralite Faceware mask!

  3. All the Pat McGrath and Patrick Ta things! Beautiful products and packaging!

  4. Dyson wrap or an led mask

  5. I would get Pat McGrath palettes and Dyson hair wrap!

  6. I would live be to get a Killian perfume and anything Pat McGrath

  7. If I could choose anything from the Sephora site I would choose anything from tower 28. The Patrick Ta body balm (love that stuff!) and I would for sure pick up some Tom Ford Bitter Peach, and some dewy cream from Tatcha!

  8. Literally anything from goop!

  9. If money was no object I would get the Dyson hairdryer, a LED mask, and a bunch of Tatcha, Sunday Riley, Farmacy, Charlotte Tilbury, Marc Jacobs products.

  10. My Rouge VIB packages came today! I must have been on a hair kick when I placed this order (as I recall I spent hours online looking at bayalage pics) because I have: Olaplex 0 and 3 (I’ve read they work best together); Virtue Shampoo, Conditioner, and Styler; DYSON SUPERSONIC FINALLY YAY (Airwrap was sold out but I grabbed a diffuser) and I can’t wait to wash and style my hair yay!

    Per skincare, I got all the Algenist I could possibly want (including new-to-me products such as gentle cleanser, night pressed serum, hydrating and setting mist, Liquid Collagen hand cream, PLUS the old trustys that I love including the OG Liquid Collagen);

…and my one beauty splurge, the CT Pillow Talk eye shadow quad (which I have no right buying as I have dozens of barely-used palettes, but it just spoke to me in that VIB twenty-percent-off twang that’s hard to resist).

I CANNOT WAIT TO WASH AND DRY MY HAIR (and that’s the first time in my 47 years on earth that I’ve said this) yay!

I hope all of you got what you wanted in this Sephora sale…it’s been a tough year and you deserve pampering! Share your finds!

    • Interestingly, I’m not super impressed with the CT Pillow Talk eyeshadow quad. I had difficulty getting good swatches on my arm. But I think it will work for me; I generally like a lighter wash of eyecolor as opposed to a full-on sharp glam look and the colours are pretty. My Allure box came today as well, and the little Chella eyeshadow quad looks legit! It swatched well and seems to be high quality. Plus I got the Cargo eyeliner in the light bronze which matches perfectly. It will be interesting to road test the expensive CT quad and the “bargain” Chella quad and see which one wears better.

  11. Sun safety kit and a candle

  12. If money were no object, I would want one of everything in the Winky Lux brand! I just love their flower bombs and other adorable products that come in such cute packages.

  13. I reaaaallllllyyyyy want the dyson air wrap or hair dryer! It looks so cool!

  14. One if those perfume trial sets where you get a bunch of mini bottles and then you can pick a full sized one

  15. Shiseido synchro foundation

  16. I am interested in the Huda beauty yo glow and honey moisturizer 🙂

  17. I would definitely splurge on the nuface mini or the Dr. Dennis gross led mask!!

  18. My dream cart would be filled with a Daisy perfume Marc jacobs collection and Christophe Robin hair products🥰✨

  19. Would totally splurge on Kilian’s Angel Share perfume or the Dyson air wrap

    • My plan was to splurge on the Dyson Wrap, but it was out of stock (had been prior to the 4/9 kickoff for Rouge, I’m Rouge and tried to get it that early). I ended up splurging on the Dyson Hairdryer and an attachment, two different Algenist kits that have the Liquid Collagen that I love, and one completely unnecessary makeup item…a Charlotte Tilbury Eye shadow quad.

  20. I’d splurge on Oribe shampoo & conditioner set. I can’t stand scented products but can’t resist this one.

  21. Origins retexturizing rose clay mask and the Peter Thomas Roth Hydration Essentials set

    • Have you used that rose clay mask before, and if so what are your thoughts on it? I am intrigued by the term “retextureizing” as that’s a concept my middle-aged skin is down with.

  22. I would absolutely splurge on a new perfume!

  23. I have a few things in my cart! If I had unlimited funds, I’d get a DryBar Two Shot hair tool. 🙂

  24. I would like Valentino Donna

  25. I want to pick up the Sun safety kit.

  26. I’d splurge on a PM palette or possibly a ND one. If I was feeling flush I’d pick up a Kilian fragrance, but they’re crazy expensive to me, lol.

  27. For everyone who has listed a Tom Ford fragrance (just in general) the Sephora Favorites Beachy Scents is a fantastic value! It’s $25 and you can redeem for a $49 travel size of Soleil Blanc. It also redeems for Replica’s Beach Walk (which is a wonderful scent), but it retails for only $30 so it doesn’t seem like that big of a savings in comparison.

  28. My dream purchase would be the new Gucci foundation. It looks so gorgeous but I can’t push myself to pay that out of pocket just yet.

  29. I’m dying to pick up one of the Nuface devices!

  30. Dolce & Gabbanna Light Blue Large Spray Bottle

  31. I really like the Versace Dylan Blue perfume, got some with points recently after placing a new order and would love to get a bigger size.

  32. I would love to buy a new bottle of Juliette Has a Gun Not a Perfume. 🙂

  33. I really need some new hair stuff badly, so I’d go for Verb or Olaplex.

  34. Sunday riley everyday!

  35. I’d buy as many of the Glow Recipe watermelon products that I could!

  36. Dyson.. have been dreaming about for a long time

    • Agreed. I want the Dyson curling device. It looks amazing.

  37. I would buy a big bottle of Coco Mademoiselle

  38. If money were no object: I’m a longwear lipstick junkie and forever in search of the seemingly elusive perfect long lasting, transfer-proof lip color, so I’d buy at least one of every lip color product in the name of research. I’m also a mascara fan, so I’d pick up every tube they carry.

IRL: If Sephora Collection is 30% off, I’m going to try their lip stain b/c it’s appeared on several “best” lists.

Interesting to see so many people wanting perfume.

    • Echo you and I are on the same quest! The Sephora lip stain is awesome and I 100% recommended it but the best I have ever tried as far as NOT BUDGING ONE BIT is the Covergirl Outlast two step one that you wear gloss over. The only reason I’m still on the search is because I want one that stays on that you also don’t need to wear a topper with. If you’ve got any favorites I’d love to hear!

      • Ooh, I love CoverGirl Outlast! It’s been one of my favorites for years, in fact I just bought the topcoat on its own to see if it’ll work the same on other longwear lip colors. But my goal is to get just one step, not needing the topper. A lot of lipsticks promise that but don’t deliver.
Right now I have a few that I’m testing: Stila Stay All Day, KVD Everlasting (tried this before) and some really good stuff from The Lip Bar. TLB is also a Black owned business, which is a bonus. I ordered a “creamy lip stain” duo by TheBalm from ipsy a few days ago, so I’m looking forward to that. But I await my biggest surprise score: Girlactik liquid lipstick. I’ve received Girlactik makeup in sub boxes before but I was just introduced to the lipstick by Poutbox. The color they sent was absolutely dreadful for my pale, cool undertoned complexion but the lipstick goddesses intervened and now a different shade is on the way from a Fashionsta sale!
I admit I overindulged – this lip color shopping spree is made possible by the stimulus money. If I had to recommend just one, it would be the Girlactik!
I’m excited to pick up the Sephora lip stain today. 💄😁

  39. My dream purchase, Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Parfum 😍

  40. Everything from Drunk Elephant 🐘😍

  41. La Mer concentrate, Sturm Sun Drops, Margiela or Tom Ford perfume

  42. A new Clean Reserve scent!

  43. Everything from the Westman Atelier line!

  44. I love lip products! Laneige would be on my list for sure!

  45. Tom Ford eyeshadow quad 😍

  46. Tom Ford eyeshadow quad 😍

  47. The new Sunday Riley sunscreen!

  48. Glamglow Clearing mud mask. Its so expensive but I swear there’s a huge difference since I’ve stopped using it

  49. Dyson Hairwrap for sure!

  50. Any perfume. I’m currently out and very sad about it.
