FYI – Whole Foods 2021 Beauty Bags On Sale 3/12

Looks like WF is doing Beauty Week in 2022 – March 16-22. I can’t find anything yet about whether they’re having the beauty bags this year though. Anybody know?

Plenty available at 9am at my WF here in SF. I only picked up the purple one since the blue one wasn’t as appealing to me (probably because I worry more about wrinkles than pimples). Still fun to have one through!

Misson accomplished in Birmingham, AL. One bag each. Plenty….. for now.

Real time update WF Vienna VA. Plenty of bags out: about 30 of each. Mgr said you could only buy one, not one of each. My husband solved that problem. Got in at 7:45 because I am ancient. Seems I was the only one interested. But at last check, the manager with folded arms was guarding the display. Good luck.

Just got back from Whole Foods with my two bags. The bags are cute this year. One is similar to last year in a blue tie dye pattern. The other is a purple print. I am pleased with the value although nothing compares to the first year or so bags!

Heads up – I just called my Whole Foods and talked with the Beauty Dept to check that they are actually putting the bags out on Friday (in the past, some have put them out early). I was told 2 things. 1. They will be out at opening on Friday, which is at 7 am. They open an hour earlier for access for seniors and those with immunity compromising situations to shop. 2. My local WF will be getting FEWER bags this year because it is based upon sales of last year. They tried to tell WF that last year was weird, but still, they got a LOT fewer bags. I went last year and was shocked that everyone was stockpiling TP, but they all walked right past the bags! They also said they are usually sold out within 2 hours or so.

We are expecting a big snowfall starting late Thursday, but I am hoping I can still get my bags. Oh…and it is a limit of one of each bag, so you should be able to get both. I recommend calling WF first to clarify as each seems to enforce their own rules, even though WF says it is a limit of one bag each.

Funny, I just read this, bc I was getting ready to post that these always look so great, but I’ve never been able to get one, because the closest Whole Foods to me is 2 hours away. : (

I had run out of toner and remembered the Dr. Hauschka toner, that was in last years bag. I’ve been using it and do like it. I might run over there for the essentials bag. Purple being my favorite color, doesn’t hurt!

I’m curious if the mad hippie serums are full size…

These are great sets. depending on how popular your local WF is, these sets sells out very quickly. I was there 3 hours after opening and they were sold out, even any signage was gone. One year, middle of a snowstorm,I sent my husband out really early. He was able to buy one of each but he said there weren’t many left.

Do I need one or two? Heck no. Will I probably show up at my local WF early in the morning to buy 2 anyway? You bet your sweet little tushie.

Wow, this makes me think of last year. It was my first time going for the bags (thanks to MSA!). I popped in before work and almost walked right back out. It was the height of early panic pandemic buying, and everyone’s carts were piled up with tp and tons of food and supplies and the lines were all the way to the back of the store. It was crazy.

Last year’s bags were great though, I’m happy I got them, although it will always be associated with the pandemic for me.

Maybe I will get one or both if they are still there early Saturday morning (I do my grocery shopping for the week then). Not a big enough temptation to risk crowds and make the drive two days in a row.

Oh how I miss the days of the forums…I loved this time of year because it was always so much fun picking someone who was not able to get a bag and send them one. I loved our forum family and miss you all! These bags are always filled with great stuff and the bags themselves are lovely.

To all my fellow beauty lovers this is great this is online maybe they’ll be easier to get one finally. I have very sensitive skin and I just have to give a heads up on one of the products. Please do a patch test on the Pacifica Sea Foam Wash- it sounds beautiful and you may encounter no issues but I had a horrible reaction where my eye closed and the skin puckered and wrinkled and burnt. It was so painful and nothing like that ever happened to me even though I’ve always had sensitive skin. I also never heard back from Pacifica-this was about 2 years ago. Please do a patch test to be safe. I have been able to use other Pacifica products prior to this. Hope you’re all staying safe.

haha well I have to stand in line and get my shot that morning so I guess I won’t be trying for one. Otherwise I would.

Pretty bags. I’m so jealous. Not worth a 60-mile drive to me. Lucky Vitamin used to do beauty samples in a pretty bag but no more, and they were stingy with free shipping.

I will be driving somewhere in the Midwest so will miss it again this year. Really that is likely a good thing. We are trying to get our house ready to put on the market and I realized I never use my sample sizes anymore now that I don’t go to the gym in the morning and then shower and get ready at work. These are always a great deal though and I still use several of the bags they come in as well.
