Well I subscribed like a month ago and they’re sending me March’s Luxe. I guess they had a good bit leftover! I’d try for it girl!

My BoxyLuxe included:

Choice #1: Icy Globes (okay)
Choice #2: Fenty Foundation in Shade 150 (beautiful foundation, way less coverage than I expected)
BeeBeauty London Barbarella eyeshadow palette (woof – the formula on these shadows is terrible)
Glow Recipe Hylauronic Acid serum (love!)
Rose quartz hair mask (SUPER luxurious!)
Dominique Cosmetics lip liner (gorgeous and creamy)
AMNH Gold lip mask (meh)
KVD foundation brush (Not great at all)

There were a couple items in this quarter’s box that I was pretty stoked about, but it honestly did not feel Luxe to me. The eyeshadow palette was awful (zero pigment) and the lip mask wasn’t anything to write home about – mostly just a gimmick with the gold. Typically my Luxe box is incredible, so I was definitely a little disappointed that the products this time just didn’t seem to perform.

The Fenty foundation was all right – the coverage is a lot more sheer than I expected and building on it to make it full coverage just made it feel cakey. I am super excited I was able to try it, but don’t see myself suggesting or repurchasing it ever. Favorite item this month was a surprise to me: the Rose Quartz hair mask. It is super luxurious and a little goes a long way. My thick, frizzy, curly hair loved every second of it!

Barbarella palette
Glow recipe
fenty foundation
Rose quartz hair mask
icy globes
Dominique lip liner
amnh lip mask
kvd vegan beauty foundation brush that definitely says kat von d on it 🙁

I would have loved the teardrop brush and aside from the “kvd” brush I’m ok with my box.

I recieved
– Barbarella Eyeshadow Palette- 👎
– Beauty Bakerie Sponges – 👎
– Fenty Foundation- 👍
– Glow recipe plum serum- 👍
– Dominique Lip Liner – 👎
– Rose Quartz hair Mask – 👎
– Lip Pumping Mask – 👎
– SOLEIL mini brush – 👎

So for me 2 out of 8 items were a thumbs up. 6 items I will not be using and will either gift or give away. What this has shown me is I need to cancel all but 1 tier of this box and shop the add on sales for products that will be useful. There is a good value in the box (provided you need or will use the products) if not its very wasteful financially as well as adding clutter to your home.

I totally agree with you. This is my first luxe box as I thought it would be “life changing” which is what was said, but this was a terrible box for me and a complete waste. I got:
soleil brush (overheats and burnt my hair) and it is so tiny that it is made for a kid-dud
glow recipe-good
the froze body scrub -dud
dominique lip line-dud
beauty bakerie egg blending- dud
lip plumping mask-dud
barbarella eyeshadow-dud

I am cancelling and perhaps I will just stick with the base box so I can shop the sales. That way I get what I want.

Same. I felt like I got a box of generic Alibaba leftovers. I mean glitter lip mask that doesn’t hydrate , it just irritates your lips so they swell up for 4 minutes.
Off brand products.
I only got Luxe because of the Fenty foundation and they sent me shade 330 when I asked for 110. 110 was going to be too dark for me so 330 looks like I rubbed cheetos on my face.
1 item worth paying for and they got it wrong. I am already 4 emails in on the begging them to fix this chain.
So frustrated that I am thinking of cancelling after they fix this. Luxe has become 1 good item and the rest generic filler.
I may keep base just for the sales. I don’t know how all these beauty subs will be able to keep customers. Us consumers have become wise to the fake brands and are on product overload so we can be more selective. Meanwhile the companies send repeats, ali generics and cheap versions of real brands.
I am down to just Macy’s, ipsy basic, I love the bags, and maybe base boxy. Havering on boxy.

I feel the same way! I think it’s time to cancel luxe. I hate having to give away most of the box and /or the items just sitting around gathering dust.
Who needs 6 beauty blenders? And that palette is so ugly and boring!
I’ve been a subscriber since 2014 and have not been happy for a while. I think I like your plan-cancel luxe and just get whatever at the pop up or add ons!

I would of loved to try that foundation. I hope they have it in addons.

The Fenty foundations were in the add-ons last month. They had a big selection of shades. I would have bought some but have no idea what shade of foundation I wear anymore. Hopefully they have them again since I doubt they sold out of every shade but it probably won’t be there in this next add-on unless we all get very lucky.

I agree, I did see them. I wish I would of gotten one then. I love to try new foundations. I am always looking for my holy grail foundation. I have tried so many different foundations!

I am bummed. Eyeshadow palette is way to sparkly for me, the serum everyone got, hair mask, foundation brush and Fenty foundation, lip plumper mask (pass), lip liner (hard pass), brush holder (maybe if I was 12). Looks like I got all the lowest value items. Just cancelled my subscription. You’d think they’d do a better job of mixing in the lower value and higher value items.

I got that Rose + Quartz hair mask during the last Boxy PopUp, and if you like rose scented products (like me) this smelled sooo nice. It was hard to put the cap back on because I couldn’t stop smelling it, lol. I hope it performs as well as it smells! 🙂

I got the eyeshadow palette, the glow serum, skin inc, tear drop brush, mini heat brush, beauty sponges, dominique cosmetics lip liner, and lip plumping mask…. it was sent through OSM Worldwide so I didn’t get a package weight

Can I sign up for Boxyluxe today and receive this box or do I have to have the monthly membership the quarter prior?

I think you have to sign up, then get on the “waitlist” for Luxe. Then if they still have boxes left, they will remove you and you’ll get it or they’ll ask of you want it. I can’t remember now, but I know I got it the month I signed up.
