I pulled ALL of mine out recently and realized I have to stop. I use things liberally, donate a lot, gift a lot, and what I have is still a ridiculous amount of things for one person. Sure, we can justify the ‘savings’ over purchasing at full retail. However, none of us would purchase at retail and warehouse this quantity of product. And, tha it is what we’re doing…storage of products because we could buy them at really low prices. Know this, these companies are counting on this consumeristic mindset to separate us from our money.

Does Boxycharm restock any of their sold out items?

No usually. They sometimes pop back up in other sales though, so just check the next one.

My husband and I are saving to buy a house right now. I really do not need anymore makeup. I have tubs full of makeup, but I can not resist boxycharm sales. I spent $30 the first time around, and I am like ok, I am proud of myself. Then I went right back and bought another $35 worth of stuff. I felt so guilty for spending more money! I can not resist! I need to be strong! <3

If it makes you feel any better at least you are not to the stage I am at. My husband thought I was a total wackadoodle and wasting so much money so I now have all but 2 of my boxes delivered to my work and I sneak the contents home a little at a time in my big ass purse!!!! OMG typing this out makes me realize I might need help! 🙂

I’m right there with you. Just do what I do and compare what you paid to the store prices and convince yourself that you are actually an amazing wife who just saved a ton of money by not buying retail 🙂

LOL….I am right there with you. I have so many unopened things and I continue to buy more. I feel like a crazy hoarder. It must be the endorphins we get when we see discounted makeup etc. Its like a crack an addiction and these companies know it and keep feeding the beast inside us..haha

Pretty sure my husband and sons think I’m a crazy hoarder. Well maybe not the crazy part but definitely they don’t get it, the accumulation of so much. It is kind of nuts. My husband says I’m in some kind of weird beauty box cult. Loll.

I picked up the Milk “holographic” (aka iridescent) eyeliner as well as 2 of the Fenty highlighter duos, since the price on those finally dropped to $9.

I just resubbed to Boxy after a break, so it was my first time for add ons and I scored:

— Natasha Denona palettes in Cranberry and Coral
–Kaja Heart hippie in Be Mine
–R+Co Centerpiece All in One Elixir spray (this stuff is fantastic, highly recommend)

I was so pleased to find some goodies for such a bargain–I may go back for more!

I am so mad at myself. I told myself I was not going to buy a single thing because I am still waiting on last month’s order, but what do I do…spend more money 🙁 I swear this pandemic has made me so impulsive when it comes to shopping. I guess i just missing going out and things being normal so I’m spending money to try and cheer myself up.

Girl, I know how you feel! I’ve been doing the same thing. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon!

Try not to beat yourself. I know a lot of people who are doing and feeling the exact same thing–you’re not alone.
