Glam bag Ultimate is ending. Am I thinking right that there will not be one for January?

Becca

December was the last month for glam bag ultimate. Glam bag X will replace ultimate starting in February.

Went with the Byroe. Keep hearing good stuff about their products. I have a Tomato serum up on deck. Wouldve picked the stila if it was an option(maybe it was and I chose too late.

I once again forgot that Choice was today. Looks like I missed out on the Stila lippie, which is a pity as I’ve been wanting to try that formula.

I ended up picking the Byroe salmon cream. I’ve heard really good things about the brand and the size (about 2/3rds of an ounce) is pretty generous for a deluxe sample.

Flash sales were good this month! I grabbed the full size duo of the Cela scrub and Dermedicine SPF, and the $5 Maelle lip crayon and Beautiniq cheek/lip butter duo (both of which I believe are also full size).

That was my toughest choice EVER. So many good things. 😩 I ended up picking the Foxybae but I hope some of the other stuff is available in add-ons.

I went with the YTTP oil, I use it and I’m running low lol I will definitely use that entire lil bottle so I’m really happy with choice! Lol that oil is amazing, the best one I’ve used 😊.

I picked the Byroe Salmon cream, since I’ve been curious to try one. There are quite a few picks I would have been happy with, though. 🙂

This by far was the hardest choice this month. There was some great products that were calling to me. I ended up going for the mascara because I am almost out of fresh mascara after I did a purge of all my old makeup. I almost went for the Byroe product because I never tried any of their products and I knew it would be a good value, or my favorite YTTP glow oil (Any YTTP products are amazing and expensive).

Alice

I chose the Byroe. I’m very impressed with the line. There were several items I wanted to select! I hope I get the toner and oil. Picked up a couple of my favorites in flash sale.

Didn’t have Stila as a choice. Would’ve picked it. Went with the YTTP toner.

The Flash sales were hella good for me this month. Usually I only buy one little $5 duo, if anything. This time, I spent over $30 on 3 mini duos (fragrances!!!) & 1 full size duo (how am I supposed to resist a full size Smith & Cult shadow palette?!… I bet it will turn up in my Plus bag a few months from now like the Seraphine Botanicals palette).

I was also tempted by the Illamasqua mini lip duo. (I already have Cosmic & like it.) Someone talk me out of going back for it?

Reply ButtonReply

Meg

Cosmic is way better than the other one! Bang I think is the other color and it’s not a pretty nude at all (on my light neutral skin). To much orange or brown to it.

Robin

I chose the Goldfaden Eye Cream. I’m always chasing something to make my circles better, even though I largely think nothing will because dark veins under thin, pale skin is what it is.

Joy-Not the Other One

Robin I chose the same thing for the same reason and I feel the same way too! LOL 🙂 This is a little off topic for this comment section but I recently watched a YouTube video of Bebe Rexha showing how she covers up her TRULY INSANE dark circles and it is very much worth a watch! I wouldn’t go to as much trouble as she does on a daily basis, but for a special occasion/pictures/etc. it is really awesome to know there is a way to cover them up. Plus it is absolutely the coolest to watch them disappear the way they do using makeup. Very wild!

I picked the mascara, but I am skipping again. I just got a 32 piece GWP from Ulta, so I have replenished my samples for a while lol. I did pick a couple of items up from the sale though.

Reply ButtonReply

Prettypony

I let the choose, nothing was really calling to me! I would be happy to get any of it.

I went with the SLmissglam brush. They are good quality brushes and none of the other items appealed to me all that much. I LOVE YTTP, but I’ve recently stopped using almost all skin serums and creams and my skin actually looks 10x better!

All the add ons were really tempting! There were so many choices, but I’ve been on product overload for awhile.

I also went with the brush. I am also on product overload and can keep the brush to give away later without worrying about spoilage.

Reply ButtonReply

Robin

I really considered the brush because it’s pretty and my hope is if I have enough brushes maybe I’ll get myself to change them more. Lol I have a set I bought and never used, as well as some extras and I think my December Boxyluxe under my tree has a whole brush set, so ultimately I went with the eye stuff because of my circles. I definitely see the appeal of the brush though. It’s also sort of a full size item.

Victoria Powers

I have the full size of the Foxybae Mask…it smells fantastic.

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

I hope I get that!

Reply ButtonReply

Emma

I went with the Kinship papaya cleanser, mostly because it was just different from what I normally get or select.

Reply ButtonReply

LJ

I didn’t have all these choices – many but not all of them. I ended up skipping. I’ll be back for Glambag X.

Julie B

I chose the salmon cream. Nice skincare choices this time

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

I chose it, too. The Byroe products are really effective.

Reply ButtonReply

Caz

I also chose the Salmon cream. It looks good. Just hope it doesn’t smell like salmon. Jk lol

Reply ButtonReply

Teri

I also chose the salmon cream — I’m intrigued! And am I seeing this right?: It looks like the sample size might be 0.67 oz. On the Byroe website, the full size is 1.69 oz. for $120, making the sample worth about $48?!

Reply ButtonReply

Vishasha

I choose the same. I worked out the sample size too. Seems about right.

Shaylee

I chose the concealer because they are always useful and samples usually last a while. I’m hoping I can add the goldfaden and scalp scrub if I don’t get them in my bag.

Reply ButtonReply

Bonnie

Me too, but my concealer wasn’t fair neutral. I think they chose based on our profiles. I got light warm, which is a better choice for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Shaylee

My concealer color choice offered was light neutral. Yes I think it is based on the profile.

Lori W.

I thought there were so many great choices that it was hard to decide. I love skincare and haircare. Decided to go with the Salt Scalp Scrub as Ipsy has really gotten me into this type of product.

Reply ButtonReply

Randie

I did too! There were a lot of great skin care options, but I’m sure I’ll at least get one or two in my bag and I really liked the last scalp scrub I tried.

Reply ButtonReply

Lina

I agree! it was a bit tuff at first decide but what helped me with the extra push was the size of sample, I would check at the things I wanted most than narrowed it down in size and picked the biggest sample which was the scalp scrub for me. I’m very excited to try this, especially now with all the drama and stress I am addicted to anything that helps give a bit a relaxation 💁‍♀️

Kathy

I went with the Foxybae. Winter is here and a leave in mask is always worth a try.

Reply ButtonReply

disneyjoy1970

I chose the Foxybae leave-in conditioner, as well. Foxybae puts out really good products and a 1 oz sample should last a while, since my hair is very short. I’m happy w/ my choice. 🙂

Nancy

I chose the YTTP: Superberry Hydrate + Glow Oil. I love skincare, and my skin drinks up oils.

Reply ButtonReply

Shelly111

I also chose the YTTP oil. It has similar ingredients as the Sunday Riley Juno oil which is wonderful!
