Joy-Not the Other One

So I purchased this and the charge showed up as pending on my card for a few days. Then it disappeared and I haven’t seen it since. That was a week or so ago! Has anyone else had this happen? When I try to check the status online through my Allure account there doesn’t seem to be a way to do it. Anybody else?

I just signed up for their subscription plan, but I can’t seem to be able to get the member price. Anyone else having trouble?

$30 is a good deal but UGH so many of them are musky. WHYYYY? Yuck. Musky perfumes make me think of 1970s drugstores.

Still, it’s a good deal and I always pass my unwanteds on to my sons’ GFs….

Thank you for asking! To get the member price, you have to log into the Allure site, but you may not have this option as an Amazon subscriber. We would recommend reaching out to Allure Beauty Box directly for more information.

I wonder if you should just try to reach out to Allure CS by phone and see if they would do something for you? I find their CS reps to be very helpful each time I had to call.

If you subscribe through Amazon, I think you would really be an Amazon customer, not an Allure customer.

Jane is correct. The “subscriber price” is for people who subscribe through Allure, not Amazon because Amazon is not techinically a “subscription” since you can stop and start whenever you would like. It’s my understanding that only people who have a subscription through Allure are offered the special pricing.

What an amazing deal! My daughter and I love trying new scents and I am hoping the full size will be something my mother likes for upcoming gifts.

I have enough perfume to spritz my entire family for the rest of our lives, but I love trying different brand/ccents. I received email about this LE just a little while ago and another Allure newsletter with below description. While it doesn’t give us the size of full size item, it has brief descriptions of each scent per copied below:

For just $50 (or $30 exclusively for Allure Beauty Box members),

you’ll receive a full-size Elie Tahari Eau De Parfum, which normally retails for $68. It’ll make you smell like you’re on vacation with notes of sparkling bergamot, dewy violet leaves, and juicy pear.

You’ll also receive deluxe sample sizes of:

Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb Midnight (alluring blackcurrant and jasmine)
Rebecca Minkoff Eau De Parfum (sensual bergamot and cardamom)

I googled and found an Allure article that said the full size one is 30 ml so 1 oz. Hopefully that helps!

I am so glad I took another look at the post. I didn’t see the member price earlier so I just ordered. I did not receive an email about it either. Kind of bummed about that.

The subscriber link is now working for anyone interested! I just ordered mine. I’m more excited for this than I’ve been for any limited edition box in a long time! I love trying new fragrances and haven’t tried any of these. I’m sure that anything I don’t like will be snatched up by my daughters or nieces.

I kept getting the msg that the offer was limited to one per customer (hadn’t ordered yet), even using the link in the email I received, so I finally called CS and they were able to manually order one for me over the phone at the $30 member price. Just FYI to those of you getting the same message.

They also said that people can get in trouble if they try to sell them individually or as a set as well in the small print when you sign up

I got one and I’m super excited. Just wondering if they’re counting the 1.7 OZ as full-size for the Elie Tahari or if we’re getting a 3.4 OZ instead 🙂

Such a great deal but not sure of the scents. I hate 11 11 and the original Riddle oil. They both smell like cheap drugstore musk to me. Probably won’t make a trip to Sephora to smell these perfumes so will probably pass. Great deal though.

Just placed my order online, and it was confirmed at $30. (plus tax). Not that I need more, like Break said; but resistance was apparently futile.

Haha! I had the exact same reaction. I bought this after seeing it was $30.
I’m not happy at Allure though for not sending me this offer via email. I have been a loyal customer and signed up for an annual a few months ago. If not for MSA, I would have missed out on this deal.

I love a lot of different fragrances and never get them in my subs, but when i saw 50.00 i said nahhh…THEN i saw it said 30.00 for subscribers, and couldn’t resist so i got one. i never noticed the lower price on the other box for subscribers either. i need to start looking more carefully

I keep not getting notified by allure about these LE and being told that these are deals for a select group of customers. Wasn’t one of the perks of being subscribed with them with the “upgraded”(alas more expensive) version to have early access to these deals ? I feel like I’m in grade school and not being invited to the party!

I ran into the same error. I called, and a code to override the $50 price isn’t ready yet. I am excited about getting this box. I liked the last limited edition box too.

The code that should override the price wasn’t working while I was on the phone. She tried, but couldn’t place the order for me. The rep told me to wait for an email saying the code was working, then to call back. I haven’t gotten anything yet.
