I have been with Allure for years now. I went ahead and purchased the year of Allure at the special price but I am not loving the “new” boxes that we are suppose to be getting better & more full size products. So far I am not thrilled. Thank God I got the discounted price because Idk how anyone would pay $23 and be happy with these past few months…. just sayin….

I have two annual subscriptions. I paid for both out of pocket. The Mega Bundle was meh. I regifted most of it. It was a lot of metallic makeup that is too “young and shiny” for this 45 year old.

I like the idea of powdered Vitamin C. I have so many hyaluronic acid serums from CauseBox so I will be using this with the serums.

I really love the nail polish shade. It’s a dusty rose neutral. The shampoo/conditioner, eye mask and body creme I will be using for upcoming travel. I will use the eye serum as an all over face serum. The nail polish was worth my $13.75.

Did anyone else get the email about the discount beach waver? I clicked the email and it’s only linking me to their website. Does anyone know how much they are selling the beach waver for? And have a link that works for members? Thanks!

The beach waver is 50% off of 199.99, it is 99.00 but I have not attempted to Purchase it.

I found the full sized Laura Mercier powder at Costco for $9.99. There was only one translucent one left. I dug through quite a few levels before I gave up. They had a lot of medium and deep for those who can use darker shades.

I saw that too! My Costco only had shades that wouldn’t work for me though. But on a good note, I did pick up a Laura Mercier primer for only $6.97! I really had no business picking it up, but I couldn’t pass up that deal, lol. Primers used to be one of my favorite things to acquire since I used to wear makeup at least 6 days per week, but now I’m down to once per month at least until mid next year. At least they last a while. 🙂

HELLO … I’m surprised MSA wouldn’t be sent the September box. Another sub site has the reviews for both September and October already posted. HELLO.

Alright I caved and got the annual subscription for this three piece set. I am hoping that the annual bonus is better since the annual price is now $250.

I would call Allure and make sure you’re getting that free 3-piece set. I could be wrong, but I think you only get that if you signed up to be charged monthly. I think if you pay for a yearly subscription all at once you get the mega bundle instead.
Again, I could be wrong.

Joy-Not the Other One

Okay I thought that is what you meant. I signed up last December for a year and LOVED the bundle I received then. I just signed up for the new annual deal this month and I just received the new mega bundle…All I can say is I know everyone is different so I hope you are more excited about it than I was. Nothing terrible exactly, I was just very surprised at the amount of items included that I had already received in Allure boxes throughout the year. But I did get a full size eyeliner from Laura Gellar that I LOVE and guess what? It’s not black!! It’s also my understanding that the people who signed up for the annual deal before October 1st received a different mega bundle than the rest of us. Maybe that has something to do with the repeats.

SBR

Nope! I got the annual before September 1st and the only items that were not duplicates was from boxes that I skipped.

Joy-Not the Other One

Anna, by “annual bonus” do you mean the Mega Bundle that comes with the annual subscription or are you referring to something else? Also, if you have never tried that Sisley face cream before please beware-IT IS SO AWESOME AND NOW IT IS ALL I WANT AND NOTHING ELSE WILL DO (and I cannot afford a full tube)! LOL 🙂

Anna

Hi! Yes I meant the mega bundle 🙂 And I am kinda scared of that lol That’s how I got hooked on an Algeneist eye cream

Are you guys No longer doing allure box reviews? It’s almost November and there hasn’t been a review since August?

Hi hi!

We were not sent the September box, but our October box is en route! As soon as I get my hands on it I will get the review up. 🙂

I was thinking the same thing! Why are there no reviews for September and October? The “advent calendar” posts are not why I visit this site.
