I must have clicked the wrong link because I was charged the full $60 plus tax, not the discounted $40 as a subscriber. Does anyone know if customer service will refund me the difference?

The fine print says in 20 business days which is basically one month later.
“Your box should ship within 20 business days after your order is placed, though it may be earlier depending on what day of the month you place your order.”

Wow, I remember when the extra allure boxes came out there would be like 30 different products to try out and they were all full size and good products….this looks as compared to those.

Considering how terrible their website functions are I’m surprised they don’t put a little money into that. I subbed through Amazon purely because of the hassle of their site. One of the bigger problems is being redirected to a magazine subscription I don’t have or want!

I was able to order this box at the discounted rate after subscribing through amazon. But I did have to wait a little while – until allure sent me notification that my account was live.

In the email they make it sound like the Youth To The People’s Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask is full size but it doesn’t look full size and the size isn’t listed on their web page either. But the email reads:
“For just $40, you’ll receive 11 products (including five full-size favorites), like OLEHENRIKSEN’s Banana Bright Eye Crème, the EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46, Kevyn Aucoin’s Glass Glow Face and Body Gloss, and Youth To The People’s Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask. That’s over $200 in value!”
They List 4 Full Size Products followed by the Youth To The People product in the same sentence as if it’s Full size too. Does anyone know if this is the full size or the 15 ml. size?

When you click on the link, I think the 3rd paragraph in the body of the notice it says if you are already a member click here. That is where you can order for $40.

I believe Allure magazine devotes its October issue every year to its selection of best beauty products every year. It’s an extensive list, and these are probably just a few of their winners as selected by their writers, editors, and readers. You’re certainly entitled to your own opinions as they may differ from the masses.

Tempted to grab this at $40 for the Ole eye cream and Elta sunscreen, but I placed an order with Ulta and one with Birchbox over the weekend, so I’ll have to pass. Great deal, but I’ve too much stuff. My first Allure box was just delivered today as well. Looking at all my stuff, I’m glad I only signed up for three months.

I’ve subbed to many boxes since 2013 but I don’t recall ever getting the sunscreen or eye cream. I must not get those boxes. I’ve been wanting to try the sunscreen as it’s recommended for those with rosacea, like me. The eye cream and sunscreen pay for the box.

I ran out of the exact Ole Henriksen Eye Cream. It retails for $39. So At $40, its like restocking my eye cream and getting everything else as GWP! (That’s how I reason with myself and not feel guilty for buying. Lol).

What lovely flowery prose they wrote for how they “selected” this collection. Half the items are the leftovers from the warehouse. Nothing wrong with packaging leftovers to sell, but don’t pretend that you actually went out and procured this stuff because you wanted to add these amazing products (that you didn’t already have in the warehouse) to the package.
Natasha Denona singles: the exact three shades that were given out in the boxes some months ago. I don’t suppose that ND only manufactures three shades. I don’t mind leftovers; I do mind lying.

I do not see where you are seeing that these products were specially procured. All it says is they were selected from Best of Allure winners. So I am not sure why you feel they are lying. If you don’t want it ,don’t buy it. But don’t be making false accusations about it either.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Its funny how they spin the way they choose these products to make the box sound super special. They probably just picked out the products they had the most of in their warehouse and slapped the words limited edition on it so they could give it a hefty price tag. I’m not saying it isn’t worth the price for some people but I’m with you on being bothered by the lying to sell more boxes.

Subscribed. I believe those were in a summer 2019 box. I really enjoy using it still but I would be worried if I got this, I could get a repeat shade.
I have subbed since then but seems like a lot of these products look familiar or are frequent in sub boxes.

Silk is expensive. The slip scrunchies retail 3/20 or 6/39 or about 6.80 ea. In addition the sunscreen is 29.50. So that is already $37.
(personally my favorite in the box are the mascara and the bum bum cream and this valuation take neither into consideration – – or the very popular eye cream)

This was worth it for the scrunchie and the sunscreen alone. I actually wore out the original scrunchie that I received – it was utterly amazing for fine hair.

I get that you really like those two items, but $60 or even $40 seems like a lot of money for a scrunchie and a sunscreen. if you like the scrunchie so much, can’t you just google the brand and buy some of them? That’s what I did for the Lue serum I got in one of my subs that I loved so much – I bought 3!

What size is the BumBum? The packaging looks wrong for the 25ml purse size but it’s not listed as a Full Size so I’m not sure.
Only interested in half of it so the BumBum size is make or break for me

It appears to be a 25 ml sample size from the photo. The Banana Bright full size (which is resting on top) is 15 ml, and the Moroccanoil to the left is the tiny 10 ml sample size.

Where did it say full size? I just looked and I did not see that wording on the bumbum… also, the product on top of it is a full size eye cream so… my guess is it’s the size they sent in the monthly box a few months back.
