Wow yum. They price is about right. If you go to a higher end confectionery shop they cost over $1 each.

I was thinking of getting Quality Street candy this year as I’ve never had them before or my husband. I heard they were good plus won’t break the bank since I have actual gifts to buy and wrapping supplies. Not doing the whole $50-$300 on advent calendars this year or probably the future. Plus edible goods just make me feel fat. I usually treat myself to egg nog and a slice of pie and that alone is 150% enough. I hate being fatty. I hate calories. Universal Yums super yums box is enough of an over kill for me. 😵😭😵😭😵 My husband loves that box though.
I’m the type that would try to store food in my place for emergency then burn down my place cause its just too much food. I’m literally gone Bi Polar/ Borderline Personality with my eating disorders and threw alllll of it in the trash. Same with pizza. I’ll spend $40 on pizza to the door. Freak out then trash it.

I find your post a little concerning. Our relationship with food can be so complex. I hope you are receiving help.

Hi Diamond, I hope this message conveys my intention of true concern with no sarcasm or judgement: are you seeking professional treatment for these thoughts and feelings you’re having? Are you going to someone licensed to help you, to discuss this? I understand that food is a sensitive subject for a lot of people, especially as we’re heading into the holiday season where food is everywhere, but unlike other habits like alcohol, you need to eat to live. Which means that you will be carrying those awful thoughts with you for the rest of your life and I wouldn’t want you to spend your energy on something like that and your comment really concerned me.

Sometimes I forget the actual cost of quality chocolate when I am usually on Hershey’s with almonds or the cookies w/cream variety. I am super tempted with the larger boxes variety.
