Talk about a crazy markup in price…this tea calendar is a much more reasonable £25 in the UK (so just over $30)! I can’t believe anyone would pay $56 for a bunch of single use tea bags this year..

Thanks for the info! For $30 I would considering buying the tea calendar as a present, but not for $56.

Cassandra

I was thinking the same thing! $2 for a tea bag.

okay…. I get that the advent calendar experience outstrips the value, but $60 for just an old school chocolate advent calendar?! What… why? Kids don’t have refined palates anyway! Just pick one up at CVS for $6. Or splash out on a premium one at World Market for $12! The chocolate in that will be just as nice as the F&M one.

Advents aren’t just for kids! I plan to get a quality chocolate advent for myself.🙂

I got Vosges last year and loved it.

Cat

Do you have any quality chocolate advent you’d recommend?

Luna

Darn, I was hoping so much this post was for the beauty F&M calendar 😀

Luna, I was right there with you. I was so hoping it was the beauty calendar. So far it is the only calendar that interests me this season. I even emailed F&M but never heard back.

LOL!!! Well, I really do love tea, but yes… I was excited about their beauty advent calendar, which disappointingly won’t be shipping to the U.S. this year even though it has in past years, so I was hoping that maybe this was a post basically saying they changed their minds, lol. 😀

Joy-Not the Other One

LUNA! I am so glad you chimed in because when I saw the post on the main page that said “Fortnum & Mason Advent Calendar”, all I could think was, “Finally! Luna is going to be so happy!” Then I clicked on it and saw that it was tea and I was like, “Oh wow, is this what she has been excited about all this time?” I mean, not that I don’t love tea, but I was just surprised. I’m so glad you left a message clearing up that there is a beauty advent as well! 🙂 LOL!

nope. Doesn’t seem to have a high ROI.
